Job search is like asking Alexa to make me a sandwich
The search function is on par with that annoying Microsoft Word Paperclip character. You know, the one that still haunts our nightmares.

Here you are, a great opportunity to be a welder on an offshore oil rig 12 miles of the coast of Aberdeen"
Alarming Big Brother behaviour@Linkedin
I am rather alarmed Linkedin have set up an account in my name and are pestering me with emails. I do not want and have never instigated an account with them. I have never tried to set up an account and indeed, my efforts to close the account say I need to put in a password as they do not have a password for me ... understandable - I haven't given them one because I haven't ever set up an account. Are there no rules to govern this sort of behaviour?
Impossible to contact costumer services
Impossible to contact costumer services. My feeds currently spammed with odd videos missing the features to block, hide or report them. 2 steps verification doesn't work all the time, I am not getting a SMS all the time! Site has been clearly compromised by third parties, as for Google , indeed and the internet these days. As for a so-called professional network asking for sensitive information, ID included they should be able to provide a minimum decent level of security - live chat is not available for all members, seriously? I will escalate this further. Many thanks for reading Dominga Di Raimo
Linked in is getting worse.
Linked in is getting worse.
Cannot contact them to discus or report issues. Very unprofessional and poor service.
LinkedIn do not care about their customers
I have flagged an account impersonating me on LinkedIn on three occasions. The dodgy account even has some ultra-photoshopped picture of me. I have even chatted with customer service a couple of times, and they give me the same tired answer of asking me to report it and then do nothing. I am a premium customer as well. LinkedIn does not care about their customers and the potential impact of this sort of impersonation. Disgraceful.
It's time to give up on LinkedIn
It's time to give up on LinkedIn as a reputable social media platform. Customer support and service no longer exists. Had an account for years as a recognised industry professional. Been using a premium account for a while but suddenly account was suspended, no reason, no communication.
Now stuck in a security loop trying to login without success and you cannot access any form of support without being logged in.
Been trying to get support for weeks but it's impossible. Had to contact my bank to stop LinkedIn from continually taking payments for a service they don't provide.
LinkedIn is a waste of time, No longer a reputable social media platform or company. Much better platforms out there. I had to cancel my card and have a new one issued to stop them taking payments on a suspended account.
LinkedIn very frustrating platform
LinkedIn is connecting scientists, technical people together. However they have frustrating part. This is their premium account which they are trying to make you use, for one month free trial. They are so pushy that you virtually cannot use old account to do anything. I stopped to use my account for 2 years because of this feature. Obviously they want your account details for payments for use this one month trial.
The other annoying part is lady director who join your account to advise you which jobs you are interested. This type of features should be in Help to select and not blocking you from using simpler version. I noticed they introduced new feature Badge to certify you are real person. This requires installing their application and access to your phone. When you created account with them you had to give them enough details to prove your are real person.
All these things limit access to this platform for new people and encourage old one to close it!
Money-grabbing company with bad customer support
I agree with others who have posted negatively about LinkedIn. I also wish to warn anyone considering the trial version of the Sales Navigator Core subscription. Firstly, the subscription is so utterly useless you won't even notice you have it, so easy to forget all about it. LinkedIn counts on this and automatically deducted a massive annual subscription fee of £839.35 without your consent. If you don't claim the amount back within 14 days, no refund. The subscription is pointless with zero benefits or advantages and absolutely no different to the free version. I couldn't even see who viewed my profile. £839 for what? Then searching the website and emailing to establish contact with customer relations - chatbox is AI. The more people that expose Linkedin, the sooner the general public will know about their unethical and unscrupulous tactics.
VERY UPSET WITH LINKEDIN
VERY UPSET .I have been on Linkedin for 15 years ( 700 + Connections ).I.have written some informative / popular Posts.. which have taken a lot of My time. + some high profile endorsers..I have just lost access to My Profile /Account.. after getting confused with the optional verification process.. I am a technophobe ( senior citizen )..There seems to be no way to resolve this without a complicated procedure cannot login to contact.
*I AM VERY ANNOYED. I have lost 15 years of work + I cannot converse with My Fiends/ Connections Worldwide This is a lifeline for Me, as I am living in an isolated situation
*After research it seems hundreds have been locked out of There Accounts recently
( a lot more negative reviews on other sites, inc Trust Pilot USA ).
.*LINKEDIN ARE DOING NOTHING ABOUT THE FLAWED VERIFICATION PROCESS

LinkedIn Customer Services refusing to delete my account
LinkedIn have restrcited access to my account and are refusing to delete it despite repeated written instructions to do so.
I closed my account TWICE and I'm still being bombarded with emails.
I closed my account and I'm still being bombarded with emails from LinkedIn.
What do I have to do to stop being pestered? I haven't had an account with these fools since february and I'm still receiving notifications about people I don't know posting rubbish on LinkedIn.
I get at least two emails EVERY SINGLE DAY. With every one of them, I select unsubscribe, and every day there are more emails.
I closed all accounts, then few months ago I received a link that I clicked on before realising it would take me to linked in. That was enough to create a brand new account in my name.
I closed THAT account too. And still the LinkedIn emails come.
STOP IT! IT'S DRIVING ME CRAZY.
Unhelpful support
I've had dormant account for a while, a placeholder. Then suddenly they started sending me promotional material, I kept clicking unsubscribe, they keep sending material.
Customer support was initially helpful, told me I wouldn't receive any more, I did receive more and complained, they said they weren't sending any and shut down.
I can see why the rating is so low.
zero star service
zero star service! LinkedIn has temporarily restricted my account for a week without any apparent reason. To resolve this issue, I need to log into my LinkedIn account, but I'm currently unable to access it due to the restriction. I've attempted to find an email support or phone number for direct assistance, but LinkedIn doesn't offer these types of support services. This situation feels like I'm dealing with an unapproachable entity.
Data protection act breaker
I would give a 0 star as I'm constantly getting phone calls because this site illegally has my name and phone number and using it for another person with the same name and there is no way of contacting Linkedin without joining this is illegal under the UK data protection act 2018 this has been happening for ages
Loved it!
Linked in one of the best platform help me to connect like minded people. Really appreciate to join it
Scam suscription for ever
Hello . When I made the subscription it was supposedly for one year. Nowhere did it say that it was renewable. This seems to be a (semi-illegal) method similar to the one used by the A..N site. And they know that there is fine print that no one sees. The proof is that I haven't even logged into Linkedin for several months. And now that I logged in to see what was happening with this surcharge, I had to renew my password (I don't know why). And immediately cancel the infinite subscription by deleting the credit card (they usually ask you to agree to leave your data and this never happened).
I hope you understand my situation and get my money back.
In the receipt received by email, at no time does it clarify the indefinite and forever annual subscription. There are only cancellation conditions in one year.
Thank you so much.
Premium problem- not happy.
Signed up for premium for what I was led to believe would be one month, just to see how it would work. Got socked for $259.25 for a whole year. Have tried to get them to refund my money, but get nothing nothing but a black hole response. To make insult to injury, I never got Premium yet they keep advertising to try it for free. Their website does not seem to have a customer service line. I submitted several requests but have gotten nothing back. I hope that this feedback may get to them so they can rectify the situation.

Taking £400 from personal account for what? Why? Where is my invoice? Why are you grabbing my money. No emajl to show in advsnce the payment will be taken. No email to show what it is for. Typical corporate arrogance.
