Parcel lost and no one cares
09.01.2026 Today is 09.01.26 afternoon. I ordered something from PHARMACY on 26.12.25. It has NOT yet arrived, somewhere between UGLEAPOTEK and their preferred courier DAO.
I placed order on 26-December, to be delivered by DAO. Not coming as expected, so I checked tracking number on 03-January. It was sorted wrongly on 31-December but no more updates. I called on 03-Janaury and first upon my call status updated to started investigation (what if I didn't call???) I wrote mail to Ugleapotek on 04-Janaury asking to escalate, no answer.
I called DAO customer center again 05-January, waiting in very long queue. Agent told me that they still have 10 business days to search for my lost package.
Now I have to wait 2 weeks for DAO, if not delivered reordering it with perhaps new price and wait again for DAO..... But neither Ugleapotek nor DAO cares.

Thank you for your message. We understand your frustration and are sorry for the inconvenience caused by the delayed delivery.
Unfortunately, once a parcel has been handed over to the carrier, we have no control over the transport process. We also do not automatically receive notifications when a parcel is delayed or temporarily lost by the courier. This is why the investigation with DAO was initiated when the issue was identified.
When placing an order with us, you accept the courier’s delivery terms and conditions. In this case, DAO operates with a search and investigation period of up to 10 business days, and this timeframe applies regardless of the sender or recipient.
As soon as the parcel appeared to be missing, we were prepared to offer a replacement shipment. However, before this became necessary, DAO located the parcel again, and it re-entered the delivery process. For that reason, there was no need to send a new package.
We understand that waiting is inconvenient, especially when an order is time-sensitive, but the process must follow the carrier’s procedures. Should the parcel ultimately not be delivered, we will of course handle the matter accordingly.
