The history of the Ukrainian brand UGEARS began in 2014 with the desire of a dedicated technical designer Denis Okhrimenko to rediscover the possibilities of conventional mechanics to the world. Then the brand just began to develop, and the first kits Denis Packed at home, right on his knees. This was followed by the opening of an online store and brand promotion in social networks. The turning point was the conquest of the crowdfunding platform Kickstarter. There 3D puzzles sparked furious excitement, having collected $400 thousand instead of the requested $20 thousand. Now UGEARS known around the world. Unique 3D puzzles are very popular on 5 continents and mainly in Japan. Now we are glad to offer you construction kits and 3D puzzles which work on the principles of classical mechanics. No modeling fan will pass by. Very well made
Very well made, amazing the rigidity when not using glue and the instructions are easy to follow. I was concerned the plywood would be a bit weak, but even the small pieces have stood up well. Whilst I am only a quarter of the way through I would certainly consider another.

Some of the cut parts are a little off…
Some of the cut parts are a little off and need shaving back, results in a slightly frustrating process but aside from that it's beautifully made and looks well assembled but have sharp knife and some glue to hand just in case.

We believe waxing the parts and using sandpaper is the key to flawless assembly. It also takes time and patience. Well done for mastering the kit, Alastair. We are glad you enjoyed the end result.

However I did have to replace the set as one piece wasn't cut to size and broke during assembly. The replacement set then fitted together perfectly.
