I want to share my experience so that expectations are clear.
In my experience, the company attempted to increase charges at closing despite prior verbal discussions about agreed terms. I also found communication to be difficult at times. Phone calls often felt rushed, and responses to emails were delayed or did not come at all.
There were several instances where I felt I had to take on much of the work myself, while still being expected to pay the full commission at closing. This left me feeling frustrated and unsupported throughout the process.
Based on my personal experience, I would advise others to carefully review all terms in writing and ensure expectations are clearly documented before moving forward.

I found Transworld to be very unprofessional and dishonest. Dealt with an agent named, Johnathan Zsittnik. He had me sign an NDA and provided financials. After reviewing them, I had a few very basic questions on numbers that didn't seem to make sense. He cut off contact with me after I asked why there were significant contradictions in the financials that didn't line up with the claims he was making in his advertisement. I'd stay as far away from this company as possible.

I worked with the co-founder of Transworld as he came highly recommended from an organization that I was a member of. What a disappointment!! There are several reasons why I would not recommend this company. First of all, the marketing flyer was poorly written. The broker wasn’t able to generate serious leads. As a matter of fact, we had no LOI’s or formal offers. Second, he was completely disinterested in selling our company to the the best buyer and the highest bidder. He misinformed me saying that in my industry the Ebitda multiple is 1-2 and that this should include all existing inventory. Mind you, if I had listened to him, I would have sold the company for EBITDA x 1. Outrageous! Our contract was exclusive for 1 year, but after he offered nothing except telling me that I should lower the selling price, I requested to break the agreement. Lesson learned: the owner of Transworld wants to put below minimal effort, sell your business for a minimum price. He has no interest in finding the buyer that will pay what the business is worth. His goal is just to push businesses through like on a production line with no empathy who you sell your business to or for how much. Shame!!!
