This is excellent software. I love it. Its easy to use and even the free version is user friendly, fast, and works flawlessly.

Terrible communication and terrible support and they deleted access to my account. I had to cancel my credit card I used to be assured they wouldn't bill me again the next year without my permission. GOOD NEWS - I discovered that I could get FREE transcription and more using the free Google NotebookLM.

This is fast and easy to upload a video and immediately get all the verbal script downloaded, Saving me hours. Thank you Turboscribe.

The AI assistant fails to recognize different speakers at times, the shortcut cause you stop, The find and replace options is takes you back to the moment you started transcribing minutes, if you don't not things down you will be lost. It mixs the speakers speeches at times.

LIARS!! I uploaded two different files, one 19 minutes, another 22 minutes and both times terrible scribed stated that they were over 30 minutes and I needed to upgrade!!

I want to say Turboscribe has really helped me alot, the accuracy is at 95% exactly how it flows but i would rather they gave us a summary of audio instead of having to do double work in reading all the information. Its a 10/10 for me for sure

AWESOME. Easy to use, super fast. Great pricing. Perfect transcription with easy speaker identification. We take our meetings / research /recordings from Google Gemini .. re-transcribe them here, and then feed them to claude etc for use digest. Way better this way.

Just needed to transcibe some whatsapp audios for meetings and it worked amazingly quickly and with 99% accurate word interpretation.

Overall a fantastic experience. I've been using for a couple years (I transcribe TONS of stuff), and it's the best value in the transcription space BY FAR. Thank you, TurboScribe!

SCAM ALERT: False Advertising & Bait-and-Switch Tactics

Review Body:
I am extremely disappointed and feel scammed by TurboScribe. I purchased the "Unlimited" annual plan for $120, which was explicitly advertised as having "Unlimited transcriptions for one person".
However, after uploading 200 hours, they abruptly restricted my account and demanded an additional $80 to upgrade to a "Max" plan to continue using the service. This is a classic Bait-and-Switch tactic and a clear violation of consumer protection laws regarding false advertising.
I am a professional user, and I have documented everything: the "Unlimited" offer, my receipt (Invoice #LCYSTNX4-0001), and the screen asking for more money to unlock what was already paid for.
I have already:
1. Filed a formal Chargeback claim with my bank/Mastercard provider for "Service not as described."
2. Reported this merchant to Stripe for deceptive marketing practices.
Warning to others: Do not trust the "Unlimited" claim. They will take your money and then lock your account until you pay more. I demand a full refund immediately.

I give 5 stars for simplicity. I give 1 star because when I was recording, my file disappeared like it never happened. I did not click pause or transcribe to stop recording. I looked everywhere for it. Sad because there was a lot of material in an interview I was doing with an award winning Professor and Researcher! I am totally bummed about losing this material. I do not recommend this app for the important stuff, and it is all important.

I've really enjoyed TurboScribe. Their transcriptions are MUCH more accurate than what I used to get from Descript. It's very simple to use and surprisingly affordable. I've been using the product for a few months now and have no complaints whatsoever.

This product does not work as intended. I "upgraded," as it's pushed/prompted every 3 seconds despite having 3 videos that are supposedly free to transcribe. I then uploaded my video, and it didn't transcribe anything... I requested a refund within 5 minutes of purchasing the upgrade and was told they do not allow refunds. Terrible product and terrible customer service.

I cancelled my subscription but continue to be charged monthly for it. Not able to even access the account as it was deleted when I cancelled my subscription and yet... Im charged monthly 20 US dollars.

I used their service (for free) today to transcribe a call for a court case.

Although there were some very minor that needed correcting, these were understanable (such as spelling mistakes in names) and the overall results were far better than expected.

It saved me hours!

they still deduct money even after you cancel . dont respond , there is no customer support.

I would like to say that Turboscribe helped me today with my work. I didn't read other reviews here, but my experience was seamless and easy. Thank you.

I opened my account one day and found that all my important files and transcriptions had been completely erased. I’ve been contacting them nonstop, so let’s wait and see if they reply. I’ll update if they reply.

This is me warning those out there if the other reviews weren't enough.

Unless you want to be exhausted, do not under any circumstances buy this subscription.

I'm a student, and I was using it to catch up with my lectures for an exam. When I wanted to cancel my subscription before my free-trial ended (as one does!) the supposed 'easy' cancellation as the site advertises was nowhere to be found - you had to email them direclty to cancel your subscription: oh wait, oops, you can't. They will not answer you.

And they CONTINUE to charge your card, even when there's no point and bringing it into the negatives, having the audacity to BOMBARD YOU with an email every bloody day but won't answer yours. Make it make sense.

I was charged for 5 weeks without my consent, and literally had to change my card number just so they would stop charging. 100 CAD dollars down the drain (I got it back dw lol).

All this to say, unless you want the trouble, please save yourself from the torment I endured for a month lol. And it probably could have been a lot worse had I not contacted my bank quickly.

The transcriptions themselves, when they actually provide transcriptions, are the best I've seen. But the program they use is in no way ready for public consumption and they seem to be doing nothing to fix the endless problems:

- Omitting sections of text, sometimes just a line, sometimes vast sections. This is the biggest and most prevalent problem. They do not provide a word-by-word transcript, so they've got their AI Bot deciding what's important and often condensing text into something that reads better but is missing key contexts.
- Repeat mode, in which one phrase is repeated hundreds on times on the transcript. Happens too often.
- Complete inability to distinguish voices. Eons worse than Sonix or Otter.
- Nonexistent, or nearly, customer service. You might get a response from Leif if you email him directly, but the response itself will be bullshit suggesting you try this or that -- already tried, already failed -- and then no subsequent responses.

Like I said, the transcriptions themselves are very good (although verbatim would be preferred) when they appear. But this is the most unprofessional transcription service imaginable,
