Update on JumpStart Filing. they scammed lot of people. they got paid for Delware Franchise Tax but never paid to Delaware. Site is down, emails doesn't work. They transitioned to a new co in September 2025, asking money for the migration. the new Co is a scam too! they start threating you that you have to pay bla bla bla services that you already paid to Jumpstart. Now i have to spend +2k to fix all the issue and no way to ask them back the money they already got. a really SHAME.

They shut down operations with no notice whatsoever. Left me out in the cold. Luckily I downloaded all my documents from the platform before the shutdown. I have been able to switch over to Firstbase as my registered agent.

After I paid 300+ to have a service for two years now they are claiming they are no longer going to be in service. However, in 2023 I reached out to them several times due to some information I needed to have corrected and for them to finish my banking details. After the banking details were completed. The Registered Agent who is: A Registered Agent INC In Delaware is telling us, the company we paid for is not ours. Now when they are no longer in commission claiming to offer a transfer to some company we don't know. WE GOT SCAMMED

Back in 2021, I created a company with this website for 250 USD. They have created a bank account for me on trynovel.com. After that around 1 year later, they suddenly closed my bank account without any reason. Luckily I don't have any amount pending in that account. Now in 2024, last month they were suddenly asking for money around 2000 USD for Annual Renewal, Annual Franchise Tax and Reinstatement Fee etc. They are now threatening me regarding Business Closure, ceasing operations etc

Expecting a streamlined and professional experience, I proceeded with the payment, optimistic about the outcome. However, my expectations were quickly dashed when I encountered their website. Riddled with errors, the website's functionality was severely lacking, hindering the service I was promised. Navigating through the site was a challenge in itself, with broken links and unresponsive pages.

The chaos did not end there. Jump Starter Filings' system seemed to be a patchwork of various online software from different providers, lacking any semblance of integration or user-friendliness. This disjointed setup not only reflected poorly on their professionalism but also raised questions about their technical competence.

Further exacerbating the issue was their non-functional contact form. After painstakingly drafting a message to address my concerns, I was met with an error upon submission, rendering my efforts futile. This incident was not just an inconvenience; it was a glaring indication of their lack of attention to essential details.

In an attempt to resolve these issues, I reached out to Jump Starter Filings via email, not once but twice. The lack of response was disheartening and spoke volumes about their customer service—or the lack thereof. It was clear that my concerns were not a priority, leaving me feeling neglected and frustrated.

Thankfully, I had the foresight to use PayPal for the transaction, which allowed me to raise a dispute. This move was a saving grace in an otherwise dismal situation. The ability to challenge the charge was the only silver lining in my experience with Jump Starter Filings.

In conclusion, my experience with Jump Starter Filings was nothing short of a disaster. From a malfunctioning website to non-existent customer service, the company failed to deliver on its promises at every turn. I strongly advise potential customers to steer clear of this company. There are numerous other service providers in the market who value their customers and deliver what they promise. Your time, money, and peace of mind are precious—do not risk them with Jump Starter Filings.

It's a complete scam. They were incommunicado for almost 2 years when I needed help with my LLC that they were supposed to set up for me, never heard a single word from them. 2 years later after I paid someone else to fix the problems for me, jumpstartscams starts spamming me again about doing my state filings, which i had to learn to do myself because they didn't do it for 2 years.

And to add to all of that, when someone leaves an honest review of their terrible service, they try to flag the review to ensure no one sees what an awful company they are.

Wish there was a rating less than 1. They are super fraud. If you have paid already, cancel is asap. They is no way you can get in touch with them vai phone or chat but only email which they respond once in a bluemoon (may be at a better frequency before you have paid) and after that they will raise one or other concern to not wrap up your work.

Jumpstart Filings lack professionalism and transparency. All they do is to ask for ridiculous amounts of money for absolutely nothing!

For example, they asked for $100 to open a bank account in their sister fintech (by the same founder!) which is free and requires nothing but 30 seconds to fill a form!

A number of friends were asked for $250 to renew their agent contract, which is also absolutely nothing and many others offer the same service for as low as $49 and even $25!

They ask for $150 + report fees for the state compliance report, which is a simple form that you can fill out yourself in less than one and a half minute!

RUN AWAY! I mean really, RUN AWAY!

They are completely fraud, missed my filing and now asking to pay a hefty amount to reinstate it and even ask to pay a new Fee every year. Last year I upgraded to the bigger plan where they mentioned that I didn't need to pay a renewal fee if I pay for this plan. Now they are asking for the new renewal fee after a year. Don't go with them, better to use Stripe Atlas, This company is completely fraud. They will ruin your business. Scammers.

The fact that this company goes by several names here on Trustpilot and all others have embarrassingly low scores should tell you everything you need to know about Jumpstart Filings. They are a pathetic excuse for a company. Their customer service is abhorrent (outsourced Philippines) and for any more complicated question you deal directly with the “CEO”/owner of the company. He’s a kind person until you disagree with something he says, then he just doesn’t respond anymore. I have (tried to) work with them for three years now and although they adverstise “worry free guarantee” on their website it has been everything BUT worry free. As a foreign US business owner, I used to depend on companies like Jumpstart Filings to take care of any compliance with the state government. Until I found out you can do this online yourself for a fraction of the cost. Jumpstart is supposed to remind me when these are due and apart from paying the fees, it should be completely out of my hands (as advertised). However, they managed to file compliance late, 3 years in a row and I had to fight them every time over the late-fees that had to be paid to reinstate our company. This is the biggest of our grievances but there are other things like, mail sent to our company that never arrives, complicated back and forth email communication where the Jumpstart team never really get to the point or avoids the question completely. They also send outrageous bills ($529 for annual compliance and late fees while the state only charges $160) It’s very easy to find stories like these about Jumpstart Filings elsewhere online. Their terrible reputation precedes them Do yourself a favor and stay away from this company it will bring you nothing but headaches. It’s much better to find an attorney who can act as your registered agent. They usually do this for a relatively low fee (under $100 per year) and offer professional representation for your company.

Talking with John helped me a lot yo understand everything it brings me a real peace feeling cause he was pretty clear at they moment of presenting the information always willing to answer all my questions right. Somehow I began to struggle with English and surprisingly he was able to help me in Spanish. Highly recommend John as your guide in this process.

The Team at Jumpstart really have your best interest at heart as a business owner. Even if delays pop up, stick with them! They got your back. Especially John & Cherry!

I saw this and heard about this firm a lot so I have been planning to open up the firm in USA so one fine day I started the process and John helped me out on the process and since then he has been very much active in responding back to my queries and process. Though my company process is still in process so hope it would be done soon.
