Crappy web site that does not acknowledge gift card balances, late delivery times, many times when they say they can't deliver due to weather or being too busy. Horrible experience!!!!
The customer service is actually quite…
The customer service is actually quite good. The thing that bugs me is their aggressive tipping policy. In the app, when placing your order, they put in a $5 tip for bringing something half a mile (on top the $5 delivery fee).
And you are expected to tip before you even receive the service. What are you tipping based on? And Caviar go through like 5 clicks and then manually type in 0 if you don't want to tip / don't trust the tip will go to the delivery person. And then they reset it on the next order back to $5.
How about Caviar just pay the delivery people properly?

The worst site ever—took over two hours to deliver Valentines dinner. No way to contact site or complain. Will bever recommend or order from them again. Nor should anyone in New York City. Awful, always.

Driver gave us wrong order after it was pushed back twice (20 minutes later than expected). Customer support gave us a rubbish canned response, refunded the order but did nothing else to help us with the situation. Still hungry and without food — HORRIBLE!!! after my wife did a bunch of back and forth the gave us credit but honestly for the amount of hassle this has been — rather not give them another shot
