I joined this platform as an experienced professional software tester, expecting the same level of clarity and transparency that is standard in freelance testing projects.

However, the compensation structure for projects was not clearly explained, even after requesting clarification. At the same time, I was asked to provide personal identification details to a system where payment visibility and project transparency were unclear.

Because of this lack of transparency and confidence in the process, I decided to withdraw from the project and request deletion of my account.

Clear communication and upfront payment terms are essential in professional freelance work and unfortunately this experience did not meet those expectations.

horrible - asked for paymen 10-29 . Even on their site it says testers get paid instantly via paypal. Then they say it can take up to 20 Business days after saying its instant , so which is it . Then it says within 20 business days so do they take the max 20 business days? ?? terrible amount of time

I have been a member of Tryber for almost six months now. During this time, I have completed all the available courses, participated in several unpaid and practice campaigns, and even reached the Diamond level within my first month — which, according to their system, is the highest level achievable for testers with less than two years of experience on the platform.

Despite my consistent efforts and dedication, I have not earned even a single dollar from Tryber so far. Most of the campaigns I was assigned to were unpaid, and it appeared that the company might be benefiting from the testers’ unpaid work while labeling these as “practice” opportunities.

I reached out to the support team multiple times, expressing my concern about not being selected for any paid campaigns, even though I met all the eligibility requirements, had the necessary devices, and applied as soon as the campaigns were posted. Each time, I received the same response — to “keep practicing” and continue with unpaid campaigns for a “chance” to be selected in the future.

Over time, due to the lack of paid opportunities and reduced campaign activity, my level started to drop. I contacted support again, and once again, I was told they would “look into it,” but no real action was taken.

After six months, I reached out one final time, clearly stating that I would no longer participate in unpaid work unless there was a valid explanation for why I wasn’t being selected for paid projects. This time, the response I received was that there was no issue found with my profile, and that the lack of paid campaigns might be due to my location (India).

After doing my own research, I noticed that most paid campaigns seem to be allocated to testers from countries like Italy, Spain, UK and Germany, while testers from other regions rarely get paid opportunities.

In conclusion, based on my experience, Tryber does not seem to provide equal opportunities to testers from all locations. If you are considering joining from outside their primary regions, I would advise you to think carefully before investing your time and effort into the platform.

I usually avoid writing negative reviews — I always try to see the positive side of things. However, this has been a genuinely disappointing experience, and I felt it was important to share an honest account so others can make an informed decision.

I joined Tryber for their content creation test on September 26, 2025, after being told by the payment manager that testers would be paid weekly. That promise was a big reason I joined.

I completed the onboarding process — verified my ID, followed every instruction, and even sent them video proof when I ran into app bugs (which they later fixed). After that, the payment manager suddenly said payments were monthly, not weekly. That was never disclosed upfront and is misleading.

I also never received any payment for my work. When I asked why, they claimed it was because I used a VPN. I did use a VPN — but their rules, test instructions, and onboarding materials never said VPNs were prohibited or that using one would result in non-payment. They only brought it up after I finished the work as a way to deny payment.

Then, things got worse — someone from their team accused me of being “a scammer from Africa.” That was completely false and racially discriminatory. I am Black, but I’ve never been to Africa in my life. Being racially profiled and stereotyped like that was humiliating and unacceptable.

I also reported a sexual-harassment message on October 1, which management brushed off without any follow-up. Between the racism, ignored reports, and unpaid work, this was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had on a user-testing platform.

⚠️ Warning to other testers: Tryber misleads testers about pay, makes up new “rules” after you’ve done the work, and racially profiles people. Their actions were discriminatory, unethical, and dishonest when contacting support no one is acknowledging my concern or issuing me out the payment they falsely said id recieve even though i have sent them all amounts of proof that i am from the U.S.A. i have sent them my ID, a Snip of my Social security card,my birth certificate snip as well, i have sent them texts, confirmation proof emails, videos, and selfies of myself as well.

You once try to give a good vibe.You are completing your course you eligibility to attain campaign.Once you completing the campaign you requested cash.But that one problem in this website you requested for your amount the amount will be received within 20 days in one campaign.Minimum balance is 3euros.

Payment is way too low and you might not even receive any compensation if you don't find a bug despite having completed use cases and filled in questionnaires.

There are so many errors on their website and they keep getting the translations wrong. Not exactly a good sign for a company that is supposed to test other companies. Maybe you should start with fixing your own bugs first.

They keep pressuring you into participating and you might loose points if you can't complete a campaign.

All in all it's not worth it and I would suggest to avoid and to look for other companies who do a better job.

I found Tryber a few years ago when I was looking for opportunities to earn part time. I had a little background when it comes to UX testing so I said I'd give it a go. The platform is easy to understand, there are lessons and trainings in the platform that will give you idea and knowledge about testing.

When it comes to testing itself, there is enough information on what to expect after completing the campaign. The Project Managers are also very supportive and responsive if you have questions during the testing phase.

Tryber is a good start if you want to learn about UX experience testing. The earning opportunities are limited, so I wouldn't call it a great source of income. It is good as a part time job if you want to earn extra on your spare time. For me, the amount they pay for each campaign is reasonable.

So far I am happy that I am part of Tryber. They are a great company and the people are amazing.

Tryber is a fun and interesting way to make money by testing apps and platforms. I really like to involvement of the tester leaders and the opportunity to challenge the other testers by having a ranking. As more you raise the top, as more you have the opportunity to join special and continuatively projects.

I have been a Tryber for at least a year. Being a Tryber has helped me in more ways than I could have imagined. First, it allows me to do what I love and earn some cash. Tryber gives me a sense of responsibility and helps me stay organised and manage my time wisely. Each week, I can participate in engaging and exciting projects, usually called challenges, on the platform. The most interesting thing about the weekly tasks is that it allows you to constantly improve your skills and gain new experiences. I strongly recommend Tryber to any serious-minded tester who is just starting out as a software tester or a tester who wants to consistently improve his software testing skills while making money.

I love tryber because it gives me the opportunity to earn experience as a tester and to also earn some extra income, besides my main job. I wish there were more cash campaigns so that I can prove my tester abilities, but there are always campaigns where you can gain experience points which can help you be selected for the cash campaigns. I am really happy I have the opportunity to be part of the tryber community.

I joined tryber 4 months ago and praticipated in many social and university challenges.After that i got invited for paid functional project for testing.Learned few new things in testing.
Payout is also quite good, but need more projects to participate and payments take more time to receive.It would be good if tester recieve more projects for praticipation.

Hello I was on tryber from almost 10 months , The daily activities to gain points is good but the number of tests or invitations are not satisfactory and the communication channel is not upto the mark and the response is so late and the payment takes months after the tests has been finished.So I wanted to improve in these aspects

Tryber is a place to grow my testing career. Since I joined the platform, I have discovered a lot of things I didn't know about testing. I am not where I think I should be, but learning is a process and so I am optimistic. I will recommend this platform to a thousand other who would like to launch career in the world of testing.

I discovered Tryber through my search for a legit earn online site & boy i was pleasantly surprised. It's a platform that allows you to build expertise through campaigns that focus on bug hunting and the user experience of certain sites which is one part i love. It provides hands on training to help complete a mission or a task and in addition it allows you to earn for the effort thereby helping companies, which is purely great!
