As others have noted, this is a bit of a scam site which becomes obvious when you see all the AI generated photos and complete absence of company info. You answer some questions and they ask for you to upload your resume or fill in your career experience. To access your results, you'll be forced to sign up for a monthly subscription.

The real red flags to me are that there's no info at all on their site about who made this or what the company is. The company has apparently only been in existence since 2024. Very suspicious. Don't give them your money.

Overhyped. Not impressed. Everything I have laid out in terms of search requirements has been largely ignored because most of the job suggestions are irrelevant to my work experience. I have told the AI multiple times that I have no experience in certain fields, but it only returns more irrelevant postings. I regret wasting my money.

Apt has been excellent! There were a couple of little systematic issues here and there. I noticed that, although I provided prompts, the AI sometimes had to process the items individually. You can't give it three or more things to process sometimes in a prompt. The other thing I noticed was that sometimes the AI was unable to recall or retrieve specific information that the AI and I had worked on about 10 minutes ago, so I would have to search through the chat. I was specific about what I wanted to retrieve, but the AI couldn't recall it. This is fine because I know that AI is still undergoing development, but I would like to see this implemented to provide a more seamless experience for other users moving forward. Again, the AI was impressive in helping me prepare for interviews and finding information about companies. The list can go on! Excellent idea!

Which in turn helped me find which companies I could offer value to, although basically APT did that for me too, found jobs on the internet that would have taken me very long to find because I had run out of leads I could locate on my own. It's like the OKCupid we used to love of old, but for careers. And you can set larger search radius than any job board ive seen. or just list locations. the reasons for love go on and on..

The software was great for tailoring my resume to specific jobs, it also did well on giving me things I'm going to like and not like about the job and what I need to dig in more on interviews for. Overall, pretty satisfied customer. The job board needs some work, but for resume writing and interview prep it's pretty good.

They advertise a 60-day money-back guarantee, but the fine print only applies if their technology “doesn’t work.” If you don’t find value in the product, you won’t get a refund.

Additionally, the site does not clearly explain how to cancel the subscription. From other Reddit posts, it seems extremely difficult, and many people have had to contact their credit card company to dispute charges.

This service feels exploitative and misleading, especially for people in difficult situations like job searching or career changes. I strongly advise others to avoid this company.

Sometimes it’s difficult to understand your value after so many years of aimless work. I loved this program because not only is it highly encouraging, but it’s basing all of its insights the skills developed from your past careers. It’s giving context to your strengths! It’s finding forgotten gems and gold and polishing it up for you and giving you more than a second chance but a path. AI can be scary but it’s truly one of the most helpful tools in the world right now. Anyone who is even the slightest bit dissatisfied with their day to day work or life should entertain the idea of a better path for their future.

Luckily I read the fine print on there website and did a quick Google search before adding my bank info.

I can't speak to the quality since I did not purchase, however, I found this conflicting info on their website to be very deceptive and wanted to help more folks be aware before purchasing.

I wish I could add screenshots, but they state they have a 60 day money back garrunteed policy. However when you scroll to the faq, it clearly states they will only ever do a refund if you can prove the technology has an error code displayed. Not being satisfied, etc. Are not acceptable reasons.

First off, I love Apt!! I was told about this by a friend who was listening to a podcast. They even offered a 50% discount using a special code. Wow, super generous! Thank you so much for that! So far, I absolutely love Apt and I haven’t even had a chance to utilize it to its full potential yet. I am highly looking forward to that! Being able to take personality tests as well as having help from AI is fun, engaging, and so informative. I love the feature of job suggestions especially the “wildcard” ideas. It gave me ideas for possible career options I never thought of or knew existed. Apt is fun to use and so helpful. I am so pleased! Self growth is important to me, not just with my career but personally also. The personality tests help in general to understand yourself better and then helps to figure out what types of careers and environments you will thrive in. One more fun thing that I loved is, each personality test gives you names of some famous people who also share the same test results. How fun is that?! All of my results and suggestions were very accurate which gives me validation in many different ways. It isn’t just about the fun of it, it really does go beyond that. But using something that is fun makes everything easier and more enjoyable along the way. If you are questioning getting this then your interest is already there…give it a go! Just like anything in life, you won’t know unless you give it a chance..

It’s WAY cheaper than a career coach. So far I’ve really enjoyed the platform and it’s led to some great insights about my next career move. Yes it’s 30 bucks a month (if you choose the monthly version) but the curated results are very robust. The AI interface is great as well.

It leads you through inputting 30-40 questions without disclosing that at the end you will have to pay $20-30 to see your results. Questions it asks are your own reflections on your personality, your skills, and your work experience.
