My biggest issues are below / they did not stand behind the issues after sending photos they offered me like $30 which was less than 5% of our order.
-Return Labels and Stickers were printed so badly that I repurchased them from somewhere else. The black had an outline of white and was rigid and looked horrible.
-Envelope liners did not stick to the envelopes with the glue stick they gave us. Yes, you have to do it yourself and it takes so much time / doesn't turn out very nice
-Artists had nothing centered or spaced evenly. I literally had to make a PDF and edit it multiple times to show them how things were spaced wrong or not centered.
Final thoughts - I would avoid using them, not only was there a lot of hassle involved but they don't stand behind their product.
Not very expensive and beautiful! My fiancé and I had an engagement photoshoot. I just put the best pix at the front of the card. I made my own RSVP website and made it as a bar code and place it on the card as well!! ( I placed it at the back of the card with two other pictures! Everyone loved my wedding invitation!;)
Did not love how silly this website is (keep in mind you cannot go back and look at past orders, so reordering stuff is a 3 process due to having to email back and forth). Designs & prices are nice. Customer service is okay. Also would like to share I've gotten somebody else's order 2 timesnow.
Beautiful quality and everything came perfectly packaged with care! And rather quick (2 weeks).
Easy to navigate website, sets clear and proper expectations and offers great quality products. We just mailed our invites 2 days ago and already receiving compliments.
Our foam board seating chart for our wedding was beautiful and so easy to create using your template.
I appreciate how quick the shipping and delivery was, and the cards look absolutely stunning.
The only reason I gave it four stars rather than five is because when I went into previous orders to reorder them (because I loved them) they came with sharp edges rather than round. I had assumed that by reordering they would come the same way but that changed! They still look great but just look closer than I did if you’re reordering!
Overall great experience.
I spoke to a customer representative on a couple of occasions. Each time the person was kind, efficient, and helpful. The quality of the wedding invitation was impeccable.
I am so in love with how affordable and fast my wedding invitations came in! I love them, thank you so much!!
Overall experience: The designers at Truly Engaging continue to outdo themselves with every product they design for us. We've used TE for our Save the Date magnets and for our Wedding invitation suite that consisted of 3 pages that included uploaded custom art. We had incredibly specific visions for our invites which required lots of editing to the templates provided by TE. To no surprise, the designers absolutely knocked each request out of the park and someone made our vision 10x better with their work.
Product/Quality: The items we have ordered are top quality. Each item is consistent, no fading, no differentials in cuts, everything is truly perfect. The luxe satin finish is a favorite of ours. It is so luxurious feeling and really elevate your products!
Customer service: We ran into an issue where the website wouldn't save my progress and the customer support and tech team went above and beyond to help me fix it. Although we had to settle with accepting the worst outcome and needed to start the design process over (to no fault of TE), everyone along the way was so kind and helpful and really saved me from going into a full melt down- ha!
I heard about Truly Engaging from my sister in law. My invitiations arrived in a timely manner. All the invitations were beatiful and made very nicely. The packaging it came in was nicely packaged and I loved all the thoughtfulness that went into it. Thank you so much for making wedding inviations affordable without your discount and deal it would have cost us about 400 to 600 dollars. You saved us so much money thank you and weddings arent cheap so it's much appreciated.
HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!! Rude, money hungry, terrible people! I am so sad and disappointed about how I was treated after spending so much money with this company. I was so excited to receive my save the dates but they sent me a bunch of samples where the quality was very poor instead. They told me I was going to have to REPAY to get save the dates that are non-samples when I already PAID for non-samples! I tried to argue and show my receipt proving I paid for final copy save the dates but never got a response back. I cannot even believe it still. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! BEWARE!
I paid 250$ for my order. I did step by step instructions for the guest return and addressing they provided envolopes smaller than my invitations . Pathos delayed my invitations going out. THEN THEY MADE ME PAY FOR MORE custom envelopes. I will never use this service again. It swears that they do everything to make your invitations “exactly how you invisioned them” but then they send envelopes that don’t even fit the invitation.
Recently made save the dates with my partner. The truly engaging website was fool proof and made formatting our save the dates a breeze, the hardest part was picking with photos we wanted to use. Our save the dates were shipped much faster than we expected, so we were actually able to send them out a little earlier!
Amazing! I love my wedding invitations! Customer service is also awesome!
Fast delivery and high quality images! We are very please with how our Save the Dates turned out. I can’t wait to use Truly Engaging for our invitations!
Our wedding signs were so beautiful and made just like we wanted. It was also delivered at a great time. We appreciate the quality of work that we got!
This company has little interest in actual "customer service", but is just interested in making money. I ordered menus for my daughter's wedding and just two days after receiving them, I was informed by the groom's mother that an additional 11 people were coming to the wedding that had not previously RSVP'd. I fully realize that this is not the fault of TRULY ENGAGING, but I would expect a stationary company to have at least a little sympathy with a customer's plight. Instead, they would rather just gouge you.
I contacted Truly Engaging to order an additional 11 menus, only to be told that they would not print less than 20 items in an order and that this would cost me $49.00. Rather than charging me the same "per item" price, they now want to charge me as if I was originally placing a very small order. I discussed the situation with both the sales rep and one of their managers, and was basically told that this was "their policy". The manager openly agreed with me that it doesn't cost them any more, per item, to print an order, whether it's a small order, or a very large order. As such, providing me with a few additional menus in order to have enough for my daughter's wedding, as an "add-on" to my original order, at the same per item price, in the name of providing good "customer care" is certainly NOT something they are willing to do. It's not about it costing them any more, it's about them making more $$$! As I told the manager, if they care so little about their customers, then I have no intention of every using them again, nor of recommending that anyone else use them. I also requested that the parties making the "policy" call me - she said that they (the owners) don't make outbound calls. This speaks VOLUMNS to me - if the owners don't care enough about their customers to call them back when an issue arises, then I don't care to use their services in the future.
The product was great! But I had quite a number of snafus.
While I wouldn't recommend them, I think it is possible to have a better experience than I did. I wouldn't convince someone *not* to use them if they're already decided to use Truly Engaging.
(I wasn't going to write a review, but now that I've gotten 4 emails from TE asking for a review...)
Ordered a sample with my "upload your design" and had the sample within a week, faster than expected. I did it slightly wrong so I re-uploaded and ordered two other samples on June 27 with expected ship date of July 5
My sample order of two cards did not arrive until 4 weeks and 2 days later -- after many, many emails and calls. I was given all kinds of reasons - closure for July 4th holiday, more orders than expected, processing times of 7-10 days for samples, on and on. I was afraid my order had been lost hence the persistent checking in. The last associate I talked to (I don't know who, none of them ever told me their name or signed an email) said my order had been "printed multiple times" (why? I'd been told that samples don't get "proofed" the way full orders do) and that it'd gone to die cutting that day and should ship soon. They did upgrade my shipping to 2-day Fedex instead of USPS, and gave me a $20 off code, but honestly that didn't make up for the frustration and timeline I was trying to meet.
The samples finally arrived the night before I left to go abroad. I proofed and picked one, and rushed to order them before leaving the country. More issues with this. The code they'd given me didn't work properly -- had to call again.
Then, during the ordering process, I proofread and clicked "I have proofed and approve this" for the addresses twice -- I had already prepped the list of addresses to be printed.
The full order did arrive a few days early (surprising, but I did pay for faster shipping) -- and the envelopes were completely blank. No return addresses. No recipient addresses. Nothing. Somehow during the order process, they had been put in my "saved work" and not my cart, and therefore weren't on the order. I understand that this was my fault, but likely could have been avoided if I hadn't been rushing if the samples had just arrived in a timely manner in the first place. When I reached out to them, they weren't helpful or sympathetic at all and simply said they see it in my saved work and that they could help me place an order.
Instead of wasting more time with orders and spending more money, I figured out how to print them myself with the blank envelopes they'd sent. They turned out nicely.
All in all, I liked the product. I think I ordered at an unfortunate time, but some honesty from them and a little more effort would have been nice. If my order got lost, it should have been put at the front of the line. I highly doubt there were all the customers that ordered before me still waiting for their order over 4 weeks later. And they need a more efficient communication system with their printing and samples departments other than email -- I frequently got the response "I've emailed the team and am waiting for a response."
They sent the wrong wedding invitations with the wrong couple's names! Although they did correct it, wedding timelines are very precise and delayed our invites going out to our guests. When I inquired via email, they only offered my 15% a future order. A couple I could find online, and why would I order from this company again!?!?! Highly disappointed and would not recommend
