No support email or phone number

No support email or phone number, just an AI bot who gives you the silent treatment. Registered a domain paid for it, in fact paid twice as MPESA didn't register the first time. Domain status stayed as pending for more that 5 hours, when I asked the chatbot why this was the case it responded saying it was reserved and couldn;t be registered. Daylight robbery - avoid avoid avoid

Worst phpmyadmin server technical team

They have the worst technical team when it comes to responding to matters issues with phypmyadmin server issues, they are slow to respond, promise call backs which they dont do, therefore meaning your problem isnt their priority, but early enough to send you invoices for your billing. I have had issues my my phpmyadmin not loading up my databases thus hindering production for hours or days and it seems normal to them, with so much spammy automated replies on mails. If you need a site dealing with databases i dont recommend them, for static sites you go ahead, if possible i could rate zero star because of this issue, 5 times reported in a month but they are relactant to fix

Stay away from Truehost

Stay away from Truehost! You will lose your money with these "people" which is firstly never available to assist with issues, just like their hosting service, and the moment you ask for a refund, all you get is these automated AI response crap from "Zola"! It's been more than 2 weeks that these people have not responded to my refund request!!!

Website intentionally sabotaged by…

Website intentionally sabotaged by competitors which has happend more then once forcing a rebuild

Contradicting information from staff which clearly highlights what went wrong and unable to provide valid reasons.. simply beating around the bush..

I've been working with hosting companies over 20 years abroad and never experienced the issues with true host in Kenya highlighting the corruption in the country where anyone can be influenced to compromise your business if they feel threatened. Cowardish behaviour which is typical in some cases

Would recommend hosting companies abroad which are slightly more expensive however peace of mind is priceless

These guys have no idea what their doing
If your scaling your business or have a niche idea keep in mind the above with guys

Not genuine and will easily share details etc to the wrong people..

Premium domain bait-and-switch and…

I attempted to register a 3-letter .ke domain (myc.ke) through Truehost. Their website showed a price of 3,000 KES, I completed checkout, was invoiced (including VAT and an AutoPay discount), and received confirmation that the registration was in progress.

Only afterward did Truehost and the .ke registry (KeNIC) claim the name was a “reserved premium” domain with a vastly higher reserve price. Instead of honoring the completed transaction or clearly explaining the situation up front, Truehost eventually processed a refund **without my request or consent** and I lost the domain.

The core issues for me were:
- No clear premium pricing warning before payment.
- Acceptance of payment and issuance of an invoice as if everything was normal.
- Conflicting communication about whether the domain would be activated.
- A unilateral refund that effectively cancelled the deal after I had relied on their system and confirmations.

I ended up wasting time and losing the opportunity to secure the name, despite doing everything correctly as a customer. I cannot recommend Truehost for domain registrations, especially for anything important or time-sensitive.

Zola is efficient at getting issues…

Zola is efficient at getting issues resolved and setting up tickets without forcing me to manually raise tickets, the customer care department on the other hand still has space for improvement especially in being reachable on phone calls. Overall there is improvement based on my past experience since these days they actually call back incase you could not reach them.

They are thieves running scam operation…

They are thieves running scam operation called truehost.co.ke. Their customer support is a joke and bunch of scammers so you better proceed at your own risk and don't say I never warned you. They will lie to you that you have bought a domain name or hosting service with them and then few days later you will receive an email out of nowhere that your domain have been seized by their safety team for no reason whatsoever. They will give you an option to move out of thier plartform but good luck with that it will never happen because the domain did not exist in the first place. They don't have any real physical office a characteristic of any scam operation and I think am going to sue this guys so these scam should stop. And don't even mention term "refund", the very rule of all scammers of this world is never to press refund button and that's what Truehost Kenya is.

very bad bad bad experience

While writing this i still have not gotten any assistance from this company. just after renewing my 2 domains for a YEAR one morning i got an email that my domains were deactivated because they were in abuse of their FBTDL abuse, they did not give me any warning just deactivated my domain and my website is still unreachable for 10 days now..
on their email they gave me an option to transfer and i did immediately but unfortunately on the other registrar my domain sits with the status pending, after contacting them i was told that truehost is still holding my domains, i have been sending them emails and logging support tickets every day just requesting them to let them lift the block on my domains but with no help at all...

They only care about your money!

I’ve continuously had a painful experience with Truehost ever since I joined them till now that I’m off-boarding my last client. You literally have to fight your way to getting a simple response from them. It’s definitely not an ideal hosting company to grow your business with. This very customer I’m trying to move to another hosting company has lost confidence in me because of Truehost.

I’ve asked them one simple thing today. As I’m typing this, it’s been 10 hours (and counting) since I’ve been waiting for a response to my ticket. I’ve followed up 3 times and I’ve been told that it’s been “escalated”. It’s a Monday by the way, not even a weekend.

Don't waste your time and money

Hello, I guess you are asking yourself if truehost is the a good webhost, in 2 word "Hell no". Just find another provide if you dont want headache. They are waste that even a poorly home made servers. Just don't waste your money on their service, they are not worth it.

Stop spamming with calls

They spam you with calls about domain renewals. I told them to stop this, but they've been doing it for the few years I've bought domains from them. It's so annoying!!!

Why I regret knowing Truehost.co.ke Is it really worth it

Please, don't register a domain on this platform they will still your money and they will not refund it, For sure They have poor customer support it truly hate this website they have stole my money. i don't recommend someone to host or register a domain there
