As a gym owner with 200+ active TrueCoach users it's a disaster when you get bombarded with frustrated clients in the gym not being able to access the app and see their training on a Sunday at noon due to app down because of maintenance. This has happened several times. Costumer support is sorry for the inconvenience yada yada but it still continues. Would not recommend the app to serious trainers or gyms. Very unreliable.

Very very average. Only thing they updated and changed in the last 5 years is the price increases

I am a client of a subscribing trainer.
True Coach cut me off & locked my data as my coach is "inactive" or didn't pay subsription on tme?
There is nil support for me to continue training unless my trainer bends to TC demands. Reeks of corporate bullying. In Australia there are penalties for organisations that do this. In America it appears to be encouraged. I would give nil stars for True Coach if Icould.

a little expensive but easy to use for the most part

I love this platform for fitness coaching and training programs. It allows you to guide and motivate all your clients with proper form when training and keep them on track to reach personal goals. I will most definitely keep this going for all my clients and athletes.

Allows me to programme in advance, to keep track of clients and communicate with them efficiently.

I've been using TrueCoach for several years and they just keep adding more valuable features and making it more user friendly for coaches and clients alike. The customer service is also wonderful, and they have helped solve any issues I've had very quickly!

Perfectly what I need, simple, ergonomic. The perfect tool for my coaching. It's been around 6-7 years, still satisfied. Even if it became quite expensive (compared to other competitors), The quality of the product makes it hard to leave.

I would like to see the DM feature a little more user friendly and engaging.

great app but for the love of god please let us create folders to store workouts in! i cant believe this isnt already on there

Once my coaching relationship ended due to my coach falling ill, I requested that True Coach delete my data. Support refused to delete my account, insisting I bother my ill Coach to do it for me. Seems very unreasonable that you can't control your only private data.

Additionally my coach will be moving his services to another platform noting True Coach as having an inferior user experience, and limited video integration, that messaging and responding on the app is sub-par to other offerings for a similar price point.

Agree with the other reviewer. I wouldn’t agree to work with a personal trainer again if they were using TrueCoach. It’s essentially money down the drain as you have no control over and no way to save or export your workouts.

Doesn't protect the users only the coaches.
