First time user
I’m not savvy with this web site. By the time I had everything together- flights, credit card, transportation - to book the hotel, the price increased $9/night. It is still a good rate. Since this is my first time using Trivago, I hope the room is clean, smoke- free and in a quiet area. I don’t need a view.

Whilst the price that I paid was very good, it is a fundamental flaw of the system if you turn up at a hotel and they ask you to pay in full, when you did in fact pay in full several weeks earlier. For some reason, Trivago hadn't paid the hotel (a major chain). I write this review from the hotel lobby, after two hours of waiting so far. I am sure it will get resolved eventually, but in the meantime I have missed 2hours+ of a special reunion.

I needed 3 twin bed rooms for an all male meeting if colleagues. I could specify this on your website. Also, the price was less than i could get at the hotel. It was a hotel in the IHG Group of which I am a long standing member!
