at the limits of legality / leave them alone

They are very quick in selling you an air ticket . . . even two for the same person on the same flight.
. . . the system gave an error after I confirmed the purchase. I checked email and the web page again and again: no confirmation, no nothing. So I decided to repeat the buy . . . WRONG decision. The next day I was holder of two tickets for the SAME flight and the same name. I tried to talk to the customer service, which was even worse. The company was in Greece, the call center somewhere else. Nobody could help and I thought I could at least stop one purchase made with the credit card. No way! They already debited.
They even refused to cancel one of the TWO ticket and after long discussions with lots of people (underpaid call center operators in low-salary countries) they offered to refund 10% !!! of one ticket.
My advise: don't trust them use others after reading reviews:

Although a flight was cancelled I did…

Although a flight was cancelled I did not receive any notice. In the end I took me several hours at the airport to organize all administrative stuff for an alternative flight with an additional stop. Furthemore, Tripsta continued sending me information about the original flights that did not exist anymore.

Just pay the extra and book with the airline

Like many of the reviews here, my problems began when I needed to contact Tripsta to obtain some paper work for insurance purposes.

Put quite simply, it's like they don't exist. You can't call them, on any of the numbers they provide, and they never respond to emails or messages sent through there own site.

Do yourself a favour and pay the extra few bucks by booking directly with the airline. These middle men companies are nothing but self serving, unaccountable entities that have no interest in customer experience.

Cancelled flight, no refund.

My flight was cancelled and Tripsta claim that they 'cannot' provide refunds. Therefore, what has happened is that Tripsta have taken $450 US from me in return for ... nothing. Is this legal?

Not to mention an extremely distressing time turning up to the airport to discover that I didn't have a ticket on my flight home, and then having to spend a similar amount on a new ticket. This was an unpleasant surprise, to say the least. The conduct of this company is unacceptable.
