A Cult-Like Trading Community Built on Manipulation, Censorship, and Overpriced Membership

I've been a member of TrickTrades, and my experience has been nothing short of disappointing. As a warning to others, I'm sharing my honest review.

Censorship and Hypocrisy

TrickTrades frequently complains about censorship and politics, yet he actively hides true and real comments on his YouTube channel. This blatant hypocrisy demonstrates his inability to handle criticism.

Misleading Experience Claims

TrickTrades boasts about trading for over 10 years, but in reality, he trades for less than an hour a day. This limited trading activity provides minimal value to members, who are left to listen to Kelvo for the remainder of the day.

Fear-Mongering and Manipulation

TrickTrades spreads fear among members, predicting doom and gloom and positioning himself as the only solution. He masterfully manipulates members by:

- Limiting trades to one per day
- Enforcing strict sizing protocols
- Creating a culture of dependence

Unrealistic Win Rate Claims

TrickTrades claims a 95% win rate, but a single loss can wipe out weeks of profit. This unrealistic expectation sets members up for failure.

Lack of Real Trading Education

TrickTrades fails to teach members how to handle losses, leading to most members disappearing. Real traders need to learn how to lose and a loss should be small, but TrickTrades' approach doesn't allow for it.

Overpriced Membership

Members pay premium fees for minimal guidance, with TrickTrades prioritizing his ego over member support. The mentoring live classes, held once a week, often waste time on:

- Bragging about his lavish lifestyle
- Going on rants about unrelated topics
- Discussing nonsensical matters

Alarming Success Rate

TrickTrades claims to have trained over 30,000 people, but only about 200 are current members. Do the math:

30,000 (trained) - 200 (current members) = 29,800+ (failed or left)

This staggering failure rate raises serious concerns about TrickTrades' effectiveness.

Plagiarism and Lack of Originality

TrickTrades passes off existing concepts, like Ralph Elliot Nelson's Elliot Wave theory (1938), as his own "Natural Movement Theory." He discourages members from seeking outside education, ensuring they remain unaware of free alternatives.

Cult-Like Behavior

TrickTrades' followers blindly support him, creating a cult-like atmosphere. Members are discouraged from asking questions or seeking outside knowledge.

Unprofessional Behavior

TrickTrades frequently complains about members' questions, prioritizing his own schedule. He has even gone so far as to say that he shouldn't have to spend time responding to members.

Fake Reviews

Whenever a realistic review appears, TrickTrades rallies his followers to post fake 5-star reviews, artificially inflating his ratings.

Conclusion

Avoid TrickTrades at all costs. Their manipulative tactics, censorship, and overpriced membership make it a poor choice for genuine trading education.

I expect a rude response from TrickTrades, but I'll continue sharing my honest experience.

Best training anyone could ask for from a person who seems to really care about helping others. May be a little rough around the edges but sometimes that is what one needs to get them going in the right direction. You get out of it what you put into it and Trick Trades puts in 10 fold what you put in. Amazing dedication to the members.

There’s a phrase used sometimes in life like they broke the mold when Pat came along, well turns out it’s true. He’s the perfect blend of tough love, mentoring and coaching and yes they broke the mold with Pat. He’s such a breath of fresh air with his personality and style. Where to start! Coming in as a trader with ZERO experience the education in Trick Trades has taught me the proper and safe way to trade. Pat is an amazing mentor who truly cares about his students success. The amount of education Trick Trades provides along with the extremely accurate trade plans make it a great service for all skill levels.
I recently took Pats Momentum live trading course and all I can say is Wow! Watching him trade live with us guiding us through the trade completely raised my confidence and trading skills vastly! The Momentum education course is next level, I only wish I would have taken it sooner!

TrickTrades is the IVY league education for day traders , no debate . there is NO where else that aspiring traders can get this level of education, or concern for their individual success.

I wanted to write this review and share my experience at TrickTrades.

TLDR: Pat’s service is legit. The strategy works consistently, Pat may be rough around the edges but he’s passionate about what he does. If that doesn’t bother you or you can get past what you think is offensive then you will find Pat genuinely cares about your success. TrickTrades will give you all the tools you need for any market, If you listen and get out of your own way.

I first saw one of Pat’s YouTube videos back in 2021 and had just got out from a discord trading group that had made the same kind of promises. I took a big loss in the moderators “damn near guaranteed” big plays. I was new to trading and had already been burned in my first few months. When I saw Pat’s video I was a bit cynical. Something about Pat and how he talked about his service intrigued me. I reached out to their support email with a general inquiry about the service and explained my situation. Pat responded personally, gave me the rundown of what they offer and said I would be in for a surprise coming from my old service. I decided to pull the trigger as a guidance member first since I was interested but still a bit cynical. I was immediately surprised. The amount of content was huge, I had taken more notes in my first week than I did my entire time at with my previous service. I took some time observing the morning sessions and saw consistent green trades. I was convinced and wanted to learn as much as I could as fast as possible, so I upgraded to a mentoring membership. The surprises kept coming and I was blown away by the amount of content that was available and Pat’s insight to market subtleties. Unfortunately family stuff came into play and was having a hard time balancing Family, Work, and Trading. I decided I had to step away. I let Pat know and my reasons for my decision. His response was short but understanding, he told me though that if I wanted it bad enough I would figure out a way to make it happen. No belittling comments or anything like that. After a little over a year away I was ready to get back into trading. I came back into TrickTrades in Aug this year. While a few things have changed it didn’t take long to get back into it. I contribute that to the mentoring I had received from Pat previously. Since coming back I have recouped the loss I had before coming to TrickTrades and just had my most consistent week of trading. I honestly feel that would not be the case if I was with any other service. Is there cursing in the room? Yes. Can Pat be a bit abrasive/offensive? To certain individuals definitely. Is it just scalping the market? I don’t think so. It is a fluid strategy that can make you money consistently regardless of market conditions, if you implement it correctly. Bottom line, Pat will make you a successful trader if you listen and follow guidance. I don’t mind f-bombs. It takes a lot to offend me and I don’t care what you call a trade, if it works it works. If that doesn’t sound like you or your willing to let that stuff get between you and success in the market then TrickTrades is probably not for you and you will have to find your own way.
