Utterly Disappointed

Utterly Disappointed: A Review of Trendcarpet's Service!

I am writing this review to express my profound dissatisfaction with Trendcarpet and the unacceptable level of service I have experienced. On November 17, 2023, I placed an order for a carpet, anticipating a smooth transaction and timely delivery. Unfortunately, my experience has been anything but satisfactory.

After a month of waiting, the carpet I ordered has not been delivered. Despite repeated assurances and so-called proof of delivery from FedEx, the fact remains: I have not received my carpet. This situation transcends a mere delay - it's a complete failure in service and responsibility.

During the supposed delivery period, my family and I were consistently present at home, yet we received no indication of any delivery attempt, neither through doorbells, phone calls, nor any other means. The claim of delivery is not just false; it's bewildering.

What exacerbates this situation is the lack of adequate response from Trendcarpet. Instead of addressing the issue promptly and effectively, they have chosen to hide behind their courier service, shirking their responsibility towards a customer. Their suggestion to wait even longer for an investigation by FedEx is not only unreasonable but also dismissive of the inconvenience and disappointment they have caused.

My patience and cooperation have been exploited, and the situation demands an immediate resolution. I will pursue all legal options available, including reporting this issue to the relevant consumer protection authorities and seeking legal advice for reimbursement.

I strongly advise potential customers to reconsider their options before engaging with Trendcarpet. The lack of accountability, professionalism, and respect for consumer rights displayed by this company is alarming and unacceptable!

For a shipment that has been delivered but a customer claims it has not been received the transport company has to make an investigation about where it was delivered as it was not received before we can take any further action.

We truly understand that this is not a pleasant situation for you as a customer but we are doing our best to resolve this as quickly as possible.

Sisal, wool and jute carpets in good quality. Great delivery!

Have bought 15 stair carpets in sisal, two big carpets for living room (wool and sisal) and a small entre carpet also in jute. All very good quality, very fast and friendly delivery! I was surprised to read about the negative experiences others have had, so just thinking that maybe the products we chose were a bit on the higher quality end. We are looking at getting two more carpets, so will have to go with similar options as this time. Delivery was excellent.

I didn’t receive my order despite being…

Edit: they eventually contacted me after this review a few weeks after I originally ordered and I got my order.

I didn’t receive my order despite being charged for it and showing that I had been charged for it. I didn’t receive a confirmation email from them with an order number so they haven’t written me back about my missing order. No refund, no response

Still no Rug delivery & very slow customer service responses

I ordered a rug on the 24th February & I am still waiting for my delivery. No one answers the phone line, my emails have no response. Its been nearly 3 weeks & still no rug sadly. I was sent a tracking number however nothing happens when I click on it. I have now been told it never left the warehouse & if I’m unhappy I can have a refund. Unfortunately I have lost faith in the business now so have agreed to a refund but again complete silence from them. Has my refund been issued ? The order was almost £280 so of course I would like the refund confirmation ASAP.

#Ordrer 1737417: I ordered my carpet more than 2 MONTHS ago and it still has not arrived. The money was taken the next day I ordered (end November). My enquiries get standard responses about 8-14 days more to wait. That is not acceptable! I want to cancel my order and get my money back asap.

Nice carpets, decent price

Just bought a... RYATÆPPER - ARANGA SUPER SOFT FUR (GRÅ) ---- a grey fluffy carpet for all you english speakers.. I ordered the carpet a friday afternoon, got it wednesday midday. The carpet matches the pictures, and it's exactly what i expected. Good stuff

Price and quality matches not !The…

Price and quality matches not !The round carpet I order in size 160cm aperentlly shows to be 'not true to the size' and I mesaure it and it was 147 cm.
Rugs are not like in the web site pictures .
Definitly I wouldn't recommend to buy here .

Never again - they have not understood even the basic key success factors for an ecommerce dealer.

I cannot say anything about the product - because it never arrived. at least after 18 days of silence my money came back. NEVER again with this company.

I had ordered and received the automatic order confirmation. then it started - email said to expect 3-6 days delay, ok, can happen, no worries.
after 10 days I sent an email to customer service to ask for status update (after all they had taken the money immediately), NOTHING.

two days later I sent reminder - again NOTHING. but I see that the company does respond to bad reviews here and on other channels. so why again is this more important than responding to your existing customers in the order process?

so another day later, I call. knowing I will wait forever... I get hold of a very nice Swedish lady who talked very sweet, but I could feel it was all BS ("your order is in process, it will be sent out in the next two days for sure, you will of course get a status update...."). NOTHING again for 5 days.

then I start the dispute process with MasterCard to get my money back. which of course they took right away at the order - even though afaik this is not legal in Denmark.

another two days later I get an email "your order is cancelled" - no explanation, not even a sorry, no alternative offer, just "you were cancelled". at least the money is back the next day. thank god.

if this is how you treat the customer - halleluja, good luck surviving in this market. great that you spend a lot on Google ads, social media ads etc. - but you should probably spend a bit more on customer service and logistics. thank god I am not an investor in your company - I have a feeling there are a lot of things wrong with your processes and policies!

and btw - don't trust this "discount only for the next x days or y hours". since 20 days this "special sale" has not disappeared from the homepage, even though it always said that you have to order in the next 1 or 2 days max to get the discount. just creating artificial pressure.

UPDATE after the response from trend carpet: I have not cancelled the order, THEY have cancelled the order. as I described above without even giving a reason or at least saying sorry. REALLY really bad.

I have ordered 3 carpets on 27th Nov

I have ordered 3 carpets on 27th Nov. 2021. It said shipping with 1-3 days .... and I still - on 5th January 2022 not received the last carpet. Two arrived just before Christmas, about 3 weeks delayed. And now there is no reply from the company ...Tried phoning them but after 30 minutes wait with no reply, I gave up.
It's really bad service - and what can you do, when they don't answer ...
