Excellent Service
The first time I stayed at Trekkers' Home, I was greeted by the most amazing staff. They were incredibly helpful with our accommodations -- and were always friendly and kind.
The staff was very knowledgeable about the area and offered advice on places to go, things to see, etc. The hotel manager, also runs a guiding service and can book busses, flights, and treks for you - right from the hotel.
I've stayed at Trekker's Home several times since the first; each experience has replicated the original. The rooms are very clean and offer great amenities (such as desks, clean towels, and soap.) There are hot showers - which are actually hot!
The location in Thamel is nice. It's very close to shops and markets, but simultaneously is near the outskirts -- so the area is a bit quieter, a welcome environment.
Most importantly, the WiFi is free, fast, and dependable!
My experience at Trekkers' Home has been so great - I don't stay anywhere else in Thamel!
