My wife booked the Tree House Retreat for my birthday.
We were greeted incredibly warmly by Victoria on arrival and we knew we were in for a fantastic experience.
The Griffin tree house was wonderfully equipped and gloriously comfortable (the bed was enormous) and the wrap-around deck was a stunning space to relax, dine and listen to the birds.
It really was an oasis of comfort and peace.

My girlfriend had mentioned that a treehouse weekend stay was high on her bucketlist`.. no pressure! Needn't have worried.. The Griffin exceeded expectations. Driving in the golf-buggy is such a good way to start the stay.. can't help but make you smile as you make you way to the 'houses.
As per other reviews, Griffin is stunning and the design so well thought out. You'll have an amazing stay whatever the weather. It was difficult to leave, but we look forward to coming back.
Must mention that Jane, Victoria and Paul were all very welcoming and helpful.

We had an amazing stay in Griffin for 4 Nights. The standard of the furnishings etc were high end, they seem to have thought of everything. Loved the outdoor bath! I do think due to the cost of the stay it should include the golf buggy in the price. The farm shop was great we had everything we needed for a very relaxing weekend. Staff couldn't be more helpful and friendly.

The staff are all so friendly and helpful
The Hospitality, with a £100 voucher to spend towards some local farm shop food made our meal plan even better !! I mean what is there not to like 😁
The attention to detail to the treehouse with its surreal surroundings is breathtaking.

We stayed at Buzzard treehouse for a couple of nights as part of an anniversary holiday. The treehouse was perfect - beautifully set up with everything we could need, especially with the Cowdray farm shop a short buggy trip away. The terrace with its outdoor bath was a favourite. The team were exceptionally responsive and helpful.

This is our 3rd return visit. The staff are wonderful. The stay is relaxing. Would be good if they used more local produce from West Sussex e.g. Tinwood wines rather than Kent wines.

We had an amazing time in one of the treehouses on the Cowdray estate - it's a really special place - beautifully designed and lovely to hear the birdsong every morning. The outdoor bath was an amazing addition.
If I had to give any feedback on how the guest experience could be improved it would be for a few more things to be offered as complimentary rather than priced add ons given the price of the stay overall. For example, I think use of the golf buggy (which was essential for reaching the treehouse) and maybe a welcome breakfast hamper (mentioned on cool stays but not provided) could have been given at no extra cost. Those little touches would make it feel less transactional and take this up to a five star review. Thank you for having us - we really enjoyed our stay.

The whole experience was wonderful! Everyone was super helpful, and our stay was very relaxing in very high spec treehouses. We opted for a golf buggy (which I think people will need), and it added to the sense of isolation from the world. Midhurst is only a short walk away though, and our only regret is that we didn't get time to use the outdoor bath!

Our third time and different cabin again! I cannot fault this place. We needed a respite after some tough times and it always delivers. Thank you! See you soon.

We had such a perfect stay. From the moment we arrived to be greeted by Jane who could not have been more helpful (and was a total joy) and jumping in our golf cart that “rattled” like a cow bell due to the number of bottles of milk we had in our luggage, to after we left without an i-pad which was speedily returned with total grace (thank you Victoria). The beds were so comfy we slept beyond our departure time, ooops, and I loved having an outside chilly bath (the way i genuinely like it). The treehouses are equipped with everything you could need and also really lovely high quality equimpment. My two comlaints: stay too short and the buggies are too slow!! Thank you to all the team; very impressive.

We had a really lovely stay at the Treehouse retreats. The attention to detail is really impressive, with yoga mats, umbrellas, games, plenty of blankets. The kitchen was really well stocked with utensils and appliances. We had a lovely breakfast at the cafe one morning. The buggy was a great novelty to get around!
We went with our 8 month baby and 5 month puppy and Victoria and Jane were so accommodating, we felt really welcomed.

We had the most relaxing stay at Treehouse retreats, couldn’t fault it at all. The treehouse had everything we needed and the customer service was brilliant. The interior design of the treehouse was phenomenal.
We will defiantly be returning!

Had a great short break staying in the treehouse. The quality of the accomodation and equipment is very high and you have everything you need for a relaxing break. Staff are very helpful and cowdray is a great location. Having the cafe and shop nearby is a real bonus and an excellent venue for breakfast or a coffee. Definitely recommend having a buggy as it made getting around so much easier. Would definitely recommend.

We had a really great time. The luxurious tree house was thoughfully designed with high, angled ceilings and a great quality feel. We particularly loved the underfloor heating, the double shower and the outside bath. The grounds were great, with longer walks easily accessible from.the site. The THR staff were great - very efficient, super communicative and friendly. A couple of areas for improvement: the large bed was not actually as comfortable or high quality as it looked - the place was great, but upon reflection, was pretty expensive - I think you should include the use of the golf buggy in the price, because it's actually pretty much essential, especially in cold/wet weather - it would be great to offer spa treatments eg massage etc as extras either in the treehouse or better, in conjunction with the estate's therapy centre - Lastly, we were slightly disappointed that the tree houses were located not far from the main road - you can't hear it inside, but the road noise is quite prominent on the balcony and surrounding grounds

Nestled in the woods, the Treehouse provided a wonderfully tranquil and serene atmosphere. Highlights of our stay included Cowdray Park, its Ruins, and the exceptional Farm shop and Cafe. The Farm shop offered an impressive selection of premium products, while the Cafe delighted us with fantastic meals – everything was flawless. The staff proved to be incredibly accommodating and amiable, ensuring our visit was thoroughly enjoyable. The Treehouse itself was exceptionally well-equipped, featuring high-quality amenities and a delightful outdoor bath. We wholeheartedly recommend this place and are eagerly anticipating our next visit.

This was our second time staying in Chukka treehouse. We loved it just as much, the view is wonderful and it’s so relaxing being in the woods. It’s lovely and warm and cosy and has everything you need. The bed is very comfortable and the shower is good.

the perfect place if you want to disconnect from the world and reconnect with nature
we loved everything and the only negative point is that we would have stayed much longer than a weekend
we enjoyed the view and the features inside and the oustside bath...there is nothing more to say than ...TRY IT AND ENJOY
