Sadly lost a dear uncle recently and had their 20+ year old car to dispose of which needed more work than was worth it so we had decided to scrap it. I e-mailed Traynor's and Philip e-mailed me back within the day. Answered all my questions about the process, gave a very competitive price for the scrap and after discussing drop off or pickup we quickly arranged for pickup. The following Monday a lovely young man (whose name escapes me, I am sorry, lovely Dublin fella) came and collected the car. Listened to our concerns about the pickup coming in our winding lane, was very polite and efficient in taking the car. Cut the cheque, and dealt with paperwork. It was an emotional moment and another difficult little goodbye to a piece of a much loved relative but Traynor's made it easier. Thanks so much.

Absolute time wasters!. Told that they will deliver a part on Thursday morning. Repeatedly asked to confirm time, and waited at a service station for good one hour. Said the driver will be there any moment, called again after about an hour to be told that delivery is on next day. Driver called 3 hours before agreed time next day and told that he is on his way back, while I was at work.

Absolutely brilliant service from Traynors.
Customer service was top class from start to finish – really friendly and helpful throughout. Delivery was super fast, and the price was very reasonable compared to everywhere else I looked. Honestly couldn’t recommend them enough. Will definitely be using them again!

I cant recommend this company highly enought. This company is efficient, they got back to me immediately, there delivery service is excellent to ROI, Kevin is extremely helpful and sorted everything for me.

Time wasters. They contacted me after my enquiery about a spare door lock internal mechanism and said they had it in stock. I asked if they could send me some pictures, and if they had tested it to see that it works. The man on the phone quite arrogantly cut me off and replied that "If they didn't work, we wouldn't be selling them!". The part arrived and of course, they didn't even bother checking it, as it was very clearly visibly damaged (see pictures).
I contacted them for a refund, they said they will have a new one sent to me immediately. I asked to see pictures of it beforehand, and never heard back. Posting this 2 months later when I still haven't heard back, after following up with them twice.
Avoid.

I honestly dont know where they get part prices from, must be google random number generator or something, they want €980 for engine that can be bought in any other breakers in Ireland for €400 max

I had my old 2006 Nissan Primera for 8 years. I was so sad to see it go. I contacted Traynors who offered me a very good price for an old car with no mot. I hope they can find someone who will prepare it for mot and keep it on the road.
The process was so easy I did it online put all my details in and had an offer with in mins. I accepted the offer and put my details in so the money would be paid directly into my account, you can get a cheque but that means extra trip to bank lol.
I got a phone call to say they would collect my car this week. Few days later I got a text the night before saying they would collect the car at 8.30am. The guy arrived spot on time,he was professionally dressed and very very pleasant. With in a few mins my car was on the truck and the paperwork filled in. I could not have asked for a better service.
As I said seeing my car go away was sad but I know they will make sure it finds a good home 😋 hope they make a few quid in the deal.
So if you have an unwanted car don't let it take up space on your drive. Give Traynors a call or online and get a few hundred pounds for it and treat yourself to something nice. ❤️

I put a request in to find an engine on part Finder. Ronan from Traynors responded straight away with an engine. Only 23000km on it. All parts attached including clutch. Also A Cat within the exhaust manifold. Delivered to Dublin on a Friday, where It was then transported to
my mechanic. Mechanic successfully replaced engine and my car now sounds like a dream. Thanks Traynors!!

Phoned for rear shock absorbers for 2010 VW polo. In stock at a branch and would send to Mallusk.
Went to collect and the exposed part of the steel shocks were heavily corroded. Can the staff not tell scrap from good used part? Waste of time.

Required part was in stock - second hand Suzuki headlight unit - and delivered in accordance with timeframe given. Well packaged and efficient service. Couldn't ask for more.

Don't buy anything from Traynors! I bought a engine from them, they assured me that it was checked, 100% efficient and that it would pass the NCT. I paid €880, €50 transport to the workshop, parts like oil, filter, coolant €90, lambda sensor€150, engine replacement €750. After replacing the engine smoked the same as my previous one. Booked NCT - €55. It did not pass the emissions test. The total cost is €1975 and I am in the same situation as before the replacement! I received a 3 month warranty so I called them with this problem. They only want to give me back €500. After negotiations, I only received a refund for the engine. I lost over a thousand euros and time
