After providing all necessary documentation and signing a contract with the company, my friend was assured that her case would be handled promptly and efficiently. Months went by with no updates, despite numerous attempts to contact them.
Communication with TravelRefund is virtually nonexistent. They do not respond to emails, phone calls, or messages through their online portal. My friend was left in the dark for an extended period, not knowing the status of her claim or if any progress was being made. When she finally managed to get through to someone, the responses were vague and unhelpful, providing no real information or timeline.
The company's website and marketing materials are full of false promises and misleading information. They advertise a high success rate and quick turnaround times, but in reality, they fail to deliver on these promises. My friend's experience, and that of many others, contradicts the image they try to portray.

The purpose of writing this review is to educate everyone please consider applying to the airline directly rather than getting scammed here.
initially while applying through them I felt things were easy and they were supportive for 5 months I was continuously following up the process by sending them emails. The response I got from them is airline is not responding and they are preparing for some cases. Last 2 months I had absolutely no response whatsoever and eventually, I chose to contact the airline myself to see what was happening to my surprise, I received an email to support their case if not they would close my case and send me an invoice which I have to pay. Later when I told I had contacted the airline and told them to close the case, suddenly the tone of their email exchanges changed and it more to pressure me to pay them for unnecessary They sent me an invoice of 165 euros as their share of compensation within 3 weeks which they never managed to get by themselves.
And it's not certain that I will receive it either from the airline.
I would have had no problem giving them the share if they had done their part properly but now it's more like I am being threatened to pay them as I accepted the terms and conditions and on top of that their website was under cyber attack my sensitive information was impacted for which I should hold them accountable for.
the way these companies work is they take your information and they get compensated from your entitled compensation and if things go the other way they sit and charge you as you enrolled for their service which the terms and conditions are not clearly stated anywhere.
I won't recommend using this service ever it's much easier to get things done on your own as they act as if they care but now suddenly from fighting with the airline, it's the fight with me as they want to pressure me using different tactics without getting anything from them.
It is unwanted stress that i signed up for unknowingly

I found the travelrefund service after having a British Airways flight cancelled on the way to the airport which caused significant issues for work. I read favourable reviews but being based in London and having dealt with BA for many years my hopes were limited. I joined the website, submitted my claim, ticket details and account numbers in case of any reimbursement. Subsequently I was asked a couple more questions which I completed online and lord an behold I received a claim amount beyond the value of the ticket of Eur175 which I thought was a miraculous achievement. Would I use the service again....100%, I though my chances of success were 10%. Really great service and easy to use. A big thank you.

We had to book to come home a day early at a cost of £200 each.
This flight by Airfrance was also delayed.
Travel refund managed to recoup the money we paid out by persistence after the airline had refused to refund the relevant costs.
Would highly recommend the service provided by this company.

I was very pleasantly surprised when a refund of over 400€ popped up on my account after about 4 months. I had initially tried to place the claim with some other websites that all turned it down due to low possibility of success I guess. But Travel Refund took care of everything and succeeded!
