Writing this on the 28th november2024.,previously have read some good and bad comments here ,but i must say i am very satisfied with the service.
My questions all answered if not the same day,then next day,due to my timezone and writing late hours,after they recieved the money from the airline,got an e mail it could take up to 14 days to receive it,but i recieved it the next day.
Pleasantly surprised and i highly recommend TRAVELFUND.
Maybe some other people had a different experience because their cases were not as clean and clear as mine was.
I had a cancelled flight due to mechanical reasons.
Was delayed for 8+ hours and was flying more than 3500km away.
My airline was based in Europe so it was a clear case but anyway Travelrefund team was amazing.
This is a genuine comment from someone who was also a bit sceptical,but now i am happy.
And yes , i almost forgot.
My flight was 7th october,money recieved 28th november,really fast.

Rarely write a negative review, but this is probably the worst customer service I have experienced online. Even worse than the airline I tried to get compensation from.
The case has been open for 15 months. Duringn that time:
- I have been requested to provide various documents and signatures
- I have been told there was a data breach and my data was potentially compromised
- I was requested to sign an untranslated legal power of attorney for a lawyer tonrepresent me in court in Spain without any explanation of what this implies (and naturally no translation)
After several back and forths and what I can only describe as preoccupying customer service and lack of empathy for the customer, my case was escalated to the COO. Ultimatedly I just received a basic explanation of what a PoA implies (although I had alrady signed one for Travelrefund), without any specific information and many ignored questions. Moreover I was reminded several times that either I sign the document, or they would invoice me all the costs of the process. In the last email they basically gave me an ultimatum and closed with the remark “I hope you understand now”. Seriously…
Yes thats right, the company I was trying to use to get a refund was threatening now to charge me, beyond all the time I had already wasted.
The beautiful irony of contracting a service to help you with the abusive airlines and you end up getting an even worse customer service.
There are many competitors in the market for such services, definitely Travelrefund or any of their related companies will not be my choice in the future. Oh and 15 months later and countless wasted hours, I havent seen a dime.

It’s been nearly a year, and I’m still waiting for a final decision with no end in sight. Despite repeatedly emailing to check on the status, all I get back is the vague response that it’s ‘in court’—no timeline, no details, nothing. The complete lack of transparency is incredibly frustrating.

Almost after 1,5 year after the incident I have no proof that my case is moving forward, other than some emails stating that it is going to court. No court date, no news without me asking and change of status of my case in their web page, showing that they are still waiting for info. Really bad experience, making my doubt about whether or not my case is being treated the way it should.

Travel Refund quickly assisted me in getting money that I was entitled to from the airlines for being delayed for over 4 hours on a recent flight.
When I previously tried to get reimbursements for lost luggage or canceled flights, I would have to engage in months long email exchanges. Needless to say, the airlines make the process frustrating and lengthy.
