My family and I are resident in the UK, I have settled status and my children are dual citizens. We travelled with our German passport.
When we found out we couldn't get back into the UK without the British passport I panicked and landed on this website. The promise of getting an ETA within an hour was it, so I thought in my state of mind.
I selected 3 and the payment went through. Although, I wasn't asked for any details prior to payment.
I then received an email to enter our details.
When it came to enter your address of resident, the UK was not on the list and I was not able to proceed.
I then realised it was a scam.
I phoned the CC to stop the pending payment but they couldn't. They told me to contact the merchant which I did, but they did decline my refund.
I'm now fighting with the CC to get my money back but they need screen prints, which of course I did not take as I was not clicking at the time.
