Three day trip to Marrakesh
We have just from returned from a three day visit to Marrakesh.
We organised a three and a half hour guided tour of the city on the first day to get our bearings for the following days. In hindsight a very good idea.
The tour included tickets to three premium sites and a private car to move around the amazing city in.
What was exceptional was our guide who was extremely knowledgeable about history ,culture ,but above all his enthusiasm.
What was a three and a half hour tour turned out to be four and a half wander around the tourist and not so tourist areas. Excellent.
However comfortable footwear highly recommended!!
Flipflops would not have been a good idea.
Highly recommended. Thank you.

We had an incredible tour of the Vatican Museum and the Sistine Chapel in Rome. The guide was extremely knowledgeable and asked us before starting the tour what interested us most. He then curated the tour based on our preferences. It was a truly amazing experience which I highly recommend to anyone wanted to learn more about any city. Highly personalised tours and fantastic guides!

They've mastered the pivot
This time last year (in September 2019) I was in Nairobi and went on an incredible walking tour with Nai Nami. To see how they have pivoted and are now able to continue their work virtually is wonderful. It was great to see that the guys I met last year (Hi Kissmart & Cheddar!) and know that they're still going strong. I look forward to returning for another in-person tour - hopefully soon. In the meantime, this is a great alternative. Please watch - and please tip/donate!
Nai Nami Initiative in Nairobi
This was such a unique and inspiring deep-dive into a different world! I am still impressed how these guys were able to transform from street children into young men with a meaningful life while at the same time helping the weakest of society. I hope I can do a real tour in person sometime soon!
The Nai Nami Initiative
Such a amazing virtual tour by the Nai Nami Initiative and really gave a insight to what life is like in the slums of Nairobi. Also it was brilliant to learn about the founders of the initiative and how they are helping their community.
Still travelling
I loved the virtual tour of Moscow, which made me want to see more. What a great idea! I love the fact that I can still get to see such amazing places when the world has come to a standstill... I'm looking forward to the day that I can go on a real tour and see the sights in full glory, but this will do for now. Thank you!
All I saw was a woman talking

Thanks for a Moscow Red Square stream!
Thanks Tanya for a wonderful Moscow Red Square stream! I was born in Moscow, and moved to the US to study. When I saw the announcement, I thought that it would be a great chance to show the beauty of my native city to my friends. We watched the stream, and even me, Moscow native, learnt a lot! Everything was super easy to remember as Tanya has chosen very interesting facts. It was a great time, now my friends want to see more!! :)

Travel Curious and their TEAM Rock!
A couple of weeks back I was able to take my folks on a trip to Rome. Now mind you, they have been planning on doing this for years but just never went through with it for one reason or another. So the goal was to figuring what best way to see the best points of interest, truly learning the history behind it all, and of course making it a memorable experience. Well I will tell you I’m glad that Marriott Bonvoy works with TRAVEL CURIOUS. They certainly did not disappoint! From the booking process, confirmation letter, and quick responses from Joanna to my inquires were only the beginning. We were able to do (2) Separate Private Experience Tours with them: 1) Secrets of the Vatican and 2) Colosseum & Roman Empire. Both of these tours lasted in the neighborhood of 3 closer to 4 hrs each. Both guides we absolutely fantastic Luisa was the guide for the Vatican tour and Elisa for the Colosseum. Both were truly people people! Great personalities, very thorough, patient, energetic, enthusiastic, and true Ambassadors for Travel Curious. Next time you are looking for a tour look them up and maybe request them by name.
