I had the perfect guide (Mary Njeri) for my trip. She showed me all the big five and much more. The accommodations, the food and the very nice people throughout my visit. If you go to Kenya, ask for Mary and ask to stay with Caroline at The Stanley Hotel.

I wanted to go to the Congo Basin but it was difficult to find travel info. I made an enquiry to AG and the next day Stefan phoned me in Australia from South Africa. He understood exactly what I wanted and soon sent a proposed itinerary with no ties attached. Stef handled everything down to the smallest detail. When travelling I ran into difficulty with one of the airlines not allowing me to board my flight to Congo as I did not have a visa. I had a letter from Immigration explaining that the visa was paid for and waiting for me on my arrival. (There is no Congo embassy in the South Pacific region) The airline did not accept this. I had organised my own flights and yet when I phoned Stef (in the evening) he had no hesitation in assisting me. He contacted his colleagues in Congo who got onto the the local airline office, who then contacted the people I was dealing with to allow me onto to board. Needless to say this took some time and was quite stressful but Stef stayed with me the whole time, keeping me calm. Once I landed in Brazzaville I was taken care of right there in the airport and escorted to my hotel and it was plain sailing from there on. My trip was beyond belief. All the camps I went to were so nice. Imbalunga was amazing for the forest treks and the bai that is only a three minute walk from the camp and they actually serve breakfast at the viewing deck. I was lucky enough to see two different groups of gorillas and a troop of colobus monkeys. I went there a couple of times a day and sometimes there was very little or nothing but when the primates were there, they were there for hours. It was amazing. I then went to the Kamba camps. These camps are very nice. The quality of the accommodation and food is high and the staff are lovely. I went on two gorilla treks both were very different experiences. The first was adrenalin charged as there was a rouge silver back hanging around the group causing some drama. The second was a lot more chilled but very, very cute. Lots of young ones and one particularly cheeky blackback. My guides, Dylan and Ben were amazing and knowledgeable. They did everything within their power to make sure I saw the wild life without disturbing them. I saw more forest elephant than I ever imagined. I even saw some rare creatures be it ever so fleeting including, chimpanzee, bongo, and sitatunga antelope. There were times when there was no wildlife but it was just amazing to be in the forest or on the river. I have done quite a bit of travel but this was the best trip ever. Being in the forest is magical and you feel so dam healthy. I have been asked where I want to go next but the truth is ... I just want to go back. No disappointment's ... not one.

Sally-Anne helped us plan a trip in the Okavango delta and did an excellent job at it. She listened carefully to our expectations and was able to offer an outstanding itinerary with a variety of landscapes and experiences which was within our budget. Her knowledge of the area added huge value to the planning process. The execution was flawless with very enjoyable camps, straightforward transfers between camps and we had a brilliant holiday. Would not hesitate to highly recommend.

It was an amazing, completely trouble-free experience! The staff member who helped us plan (Benjamin) was incredibly responsive from planning to booking and beyond. The return flight he arranged for us from Johannesburg to Madikwe on Federal Air was wonderful. Our accommodations and meals at Buffalo Ridge Safari Lodge and the safari experience with Joseph could not have been better! It was a memorable experience and we hope to return. I can very highly recommend Africa Geographic!

We recently returned from a wonderful adventure through the East African countries of Uganda, Rwanda and Tanzania with Christian Boix. Christian did a great job crafting our itinerary given we had a wide range of ages on this trip (7 yrs -83 years old). From tracking chimpanzees and gorillas in Uganda to canoeing and tracking golden monkeys in Rwanda to watching the migration of wildebeests in Tanzania, Christian made sure everyone, regardless of age, was able to participate and engage with the environment and the animals. The drivers and guides were very personable and knowledgable; they did a wonderful job engaging with all of us, and, most importantly, took the time to engage with each of the children.
At some of the camps, we were the only people staying there; this afforded us the opportunity to observe and photograph animals - e.g. a large herd of elephants as well as 5 lionesses with their many cubs - for an extended period of time with no other trucks or people in sight. It was magical.
Often, the biggest headache with planning a vacation is the transit between destinations. Our trip required multiple puddle jump flights, navigating through 3 countries’ borders, long overland multiple vehicle travel and at no time did we have to worry that our ride wouldn’t arrive or we didn’t have the proper documentation. Weeks before our trip started, Christian made sure that we had all the paperwork needed and during the trip ferried us seamlessly through every part of the process.
It was clear that Christian also accounted for our group size and composition in his painstaking task of selecting the right accommodations and in the right budget and he was spot on.

Christian Boix, Africa Geographic Director, Senior Planner, and professional guide arranged an unforgettable and life-changing safari for me and my husband in the Kenyan Maasai Mara from June 21 through July 1, 2025. Christian was by far the best travel agent with whom we have worked in over 20 years of international travel. Not only was he a pleasure to deal with--personal, direct, prompt, efficient, and responsive--but his extensive knowledge of Africa, its people, and its wildlife gave us a depth of understanding not usually gained by first-time visitors to a country. His years of experience as a travel agent and professional guide enabled him to design an itinerary and engage support staff who provided a superior level of hospitality and reliability. All in all, this was the trip of a lifetime for us, the first of what we expect will be many visits to Africa.

I recently returned from a safari in Tanzania ,I am an 65 year female traveling solo and it was an unforgettable experience. I booked through Christian at Africa Geographic, who took the time to understand my needs and expectations, then tailor-made the entire trip accordingly.
Everything ran seamlessly. The guides were deeply in tune with their environment, and all four were highly knowledgeable birders, which greatly enriched the experience.
The people I met were wonderful, the landscapes absolutely exquisite, and the wildlife sightings exceeded all expectations—often remarkably close up.
The accommodation and staff were faultless, and the food was another highlight: fresh, healthy, well-prepared—and plentiful!
I’ve already booked another trip with Christian—this time to Bhutan. So easy !

I have been traveling with Christian Boiz and Africa Geographic for more than a decade. The trips were to Africa as well as other parts of the world. Amateur photography is my hobby, and each trip has been unique, well-planned, and fulfilled my purposes whether it was a tent camp in Zambia to see the bat migration, to visit Ethiopia, or, as on this trip, with my family of 11 including 5 children (7-18 yrs) to introduce them to the gorillas and chimpanzees of Uganda, the golden monkeys in the Volcano NP in Rwanda, or the migration in the Serengeti, the details of the trip, met our needs and desires. The smallest details were kept in mind, with travel arrangements precisely arranged, the drivers and guides were kind, knowledgeable, and fun to be with. The dining was always good. The accommodations we desired and their costs were kept in mind, depending upon who was on the trip. We stayed in Londalozi or, as I wrote , in a tent camp in Zambia, and every detail had been carefully planned for us. My wife and I travel a lot, and have been to Africa on innumerable journeys, and Christian makes each journey a joy, and removes the anxieties of being in places that are really unknown to us. His judgment is always with our needs being his first priority. And, on this past journey, the treks into the rainforests of Kibale and Bwindi Impenetrable forests were fantastic and arduous, the golden monkeys bamboo forest allowed for fantastic photography, and driving in the Serengeti for miles and miles among 1.5 million wildebeest, and 400,000 zebras enabled me to start to comprehend the magnitude of the "migration"; in addition, we saw a cheetah making a kill of a young Grant gazelle. Trust and enjoy.

Africa Geographic booked us a terrific Botswana safari. Christian reccommended great camps in top wildlife areas away from crowds. They also organised the logistics of charter flights around the Okavavngo Delta. They are responsive during the trip whenever we had a question. We will use them again!

Christian Boix of Africa Geographic arranged a safari my granddaughter and me. We went to two camps, Enkewa and Sentinel. Both camps provided modern amenities while teaching respect for tradition, the animals and the land. The daily game drives were spectacular. My granddaughter and I were alone in a vehicle with our impressive guides and spotters as we learned to track big cats and cherish an abundance of elephants, antelopes, giraffes, hippos, baboons and other creatures who were living freely. There was not a caravan of tourists’ vehicles. Our time in the bush was peaceful and unhurried (with stops for breakfast and snacks). We also laughed a lot.
At the camps, we enjoyed delicious 3-course meals, convenient Wi-Fi, attentive staff, hot water bottles in our beds and jeeps, and coffee or hot chocolate with cookies delivered to our tents as part of our 5:45 wake-up calls.
I have been on safari before. Enkewa was my all-time favorite camp. Perhaps this is because of the strong presence of Maasai people who kindly and patiently taught us about their culture and about Kenya. Also, Enkewa achieved the perfect balance of indulging/ catering to modern needs without making the experience feel oddly luxurious.
Sentinel was special in other ways. Located in a wooded area, we overlooked the river where hippos negotiated the territory 24 hours a day. The feeling was slightly more rustic ( wait to fill tank to shower) but still perfect for modern duo of a grandma and a 13-year-old who needed Wi-Fi to WhatsApp her parents. The staff supported and taught us practical skills, such as refrigerating food without modern tools. This was an unexpected extra gift.
These camps are wonderful in their own right. What Christian did is make the trip happen. He tirelessly worked with me to find the right combination of experiences. My budget was a definite concern. But a more nuanced concern was designing a trip which had to cater to people at very different stages of life. This was a complete success. An added bonus was that Christian checked in on us and saw that things were going well. I messed up and left some of my belongings in the arrival hotel in Nairobi. Christian arranged for me to retrieve the items when we returned from the bush. An added note: He arranged for a driver (George) to be our guide and organizer in Nairobi. George was perfect: Wise, graceful, and so flexible. We had an agenda that made sense before we left, and he worked with us to make it better once we were there.
I wish I had the time and money to do this whole trip over again. Tomorrow.

I made contact with Christian at Africa Geographic with specific places in mind. Laikipia and Amboseli hoping to have a sighting
of a tusker. Christian put a package together also visiting Meru National Park.
The organisation of meet and greet, flights and accommodation was seamless. I highly recommend AG for travel in Africa

Mashatu Tented Camp was exactly what my soul needed. Remote ,small, not too many people. Only canvas between me and nature, yet comfortable. Every night I heard hyenas, jackals and at times lions calling. I knew I was truly in the wild. I saw leopards, lions, cheetahs, loads of elephants and so much more. I could not have asked for more. The guides had amazing bush skills, the staff was very accomodating, other guests in camp great company for a solo traveller. My trip was unforgettable and a huge thank you goes to Christian Boix and the Africa Geographic team for a very well organized trip.

AG recently arranged a trip for my two adult kids and myself to the Kafue NP and Busanga Plains. We stayed in the Musekese and Ntemwa Busanga Camps, owned and run by Classic Zambia. Our trip was a delight in all aspects. The local charter flights were very good, and ground arrangements flawless. Both camps are beautifully sited, comfortable and very well run. All staff are so friendly and our two guides, JohnD and Lecson, excellent. A bonus was the quality of the food. Liuwa Plains next objective!

AG arranged the perfect trip to Botswana for my family. The consultant really listened to our brief and arranged an awesome itinerary within our budget. We had a good variety of accomodation, activities and locations. All transports were on time - we did not have a single hiccup or moment of stress. Organising the trip was also easy with good communication and support. I have travelled a lot and this would be one of my greatest travel experiences. Thanks Africa Geographic for organising it!
