This is absolutely the best app for split tickets, and I have many of them. The recent addition of being able to track the location of your train is a very useful facility. I also see many more options of semi-flexible tickets which, though maybe a couple of pounds more, are much better for a day out when plans might change. The customer service team have been exceptionally speedy in helping with any issues encountered during my journeys, cancelled/delayed trains etc.Always my 'go to' now.

Using this firm is a great way to save money when everything works. However, you have to balance that against their behaviour in the event that you need to claim a refund or compensation for delays or cancellations. Then they will try to wriggle out of their obligations under the National Rail Conditions of Travel, sending you from pillar to post, telling you only the train operator can refund you, etc. You're better off using a more reputable firm that provides the same service.

I use the app very regularly and find it to be excellent. I recently claimed a refund for 4 tickets and it was dealt with very promptly. great customer service

Unfortunately I had to cancel 2 trains in quick succession due to a change in circumstances - Jonathan from the customer support team was absolutely fantastic. He was quick to respond and provided a really helpful solution.
The experience of the customer service and the speedy solution has made me much more likely to use Train Split as a first booking option in the future!

Trainsplit offer what UK's National Rail should automatically do - perhaps one day, when all the train franchises return to public interest, they will position themselves as the ones who can offer the best ticketing service for UK trains. They recently managed to 'upgrade' the preposterous number of orange tickets with 100% digital ones (seems EMR were the weakest link, as per usual), which makes everything that much easier. I don't go on any multi-train journeys without Trainsplit. Thanks for your service!

I found the process of booking tickets for a forthcoming journey very straight forward and easy. Can see just where my journey goes, when,or if I need to change seats, which trains I must catch and which are more flexible plus where I need to change trains in order to complete my trip.
I find this a very good system and it saves me a lot of money for which I thank you. Tricia

I booked tickets by mistake for the wrong day, and then compounded this error by using opposite parts of the tickets I had to complete my journey, making an automatic refund difficult. I emailed Customer Service at TrainSplit and Tony responded in short order, told me how to get the right tickets, processed my unused journeys and issued a refund for my unused tickets, which hit my bank account quickly. He made my problem go away quickly - it was truly outstanding customer service.

We often use Trainsplit if we need to travel by train, simply because it's the cheapest ticket option site! The site itself is very easy to navigate and to purchase from. We've had a bit of a set back in life and not in a position to make our next planned journey, so I sent a few emails to enquire about a refund for our tickets last night, I checked my emails this morning, they had linked all my queries together, understood my situation and offered to process our refund! In response to my thank you directly after, the refund was immediately processed! Thank you to Jonathan from customer services for getting straight to it! Not having yet another lengthy process to go through meant so much to me! 🙏
