Overall, the ECDIS course can be rated positively. The training material is presented clearly and with good visual aids. However, there are a few points worth noting: 1. During the exam, the ECDIS tab would reload or freeze. 2. After completing the test, the system indicated that the course had not yet started, even though it registered the test attempt as having taken place. 3. After successfully passing the exam, it was not possible to see which questions had been answered incorrectly.
Good informative and interactive module.
Good course content. Exam is not upto the mark. The activity based questions should be removed as no one is getting of how to solve them.

Best way to learn
The JRC ECDIS training program is well designed and provides a comprehensive approach to improving knowledge and understanding of ECDIS operations. However, one aspect that could be improved is the requirement to complete a minimum of 70% of the main topics before gaining access to the final assessment. Additionally, there is currently no option to skip or fast-forward through the training videos. For experienced navigators who already possess sufficient knowledge and practical experience with ECDIS operations, this requirement may unnecessarily extend the training process. Providing an option for users to demonstrate their existing knowledge through a pre-assessment or allowing experienced users to bypass certain sections would make the program more flexible and efficient while maintaining the required training standards. Overall, the program is effective, but adding more flexibility for experienced users would improve the learning experience.
Exam Questions are very practical. That makes us more encouraging to learn.
