Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Many people were dissatisfied with the customer service, finding it unresponsive, difficult to reach a human, and often unhelpful with issues like account access or technical problems. Customers also frequently report problems with their subscriptions, including unexpected charges, issues with upgrades, and difficulty canceling. The user experience and website functionality were also major sources of frustration, with many encountering data lags, changes to features that negatively impact trading, and issues with chart settings not saving. Some people were dissatisfied with the platform's service, noting that features became paywalled over time and that the basic version lacked essential functions like real-time data. However, some customers also mentioned that the platform itself is good enough for charting and offers many charts and easy-to-use tools.

I would give it a 0 start if I could

I would give it a 0 start if I could. I paid for the subscription and paid extra for cme data and I literally can’t access the data that I paid for. I’ve tried using the help centre I’ve tried emailing. I can’t find a way to resolve this issue and they literally don’t give you anyway of contracting them.

The alerts are bugged as hell

The alerts are bugged as hell, and it's been like that for months.
Sometimes the alerts don't save.
Sometimes they save as one time, despite selecting them as open ended.
Sometimes the alerts can't be deleted.
Sometimes the alerts delete themselves after few weeks.
Sometimes the alerts are active but show as not present.
Sometimes the alerts don't trigger.
Sometimes the alerts trigger when they should not.
Sometimes the alerts trigger multiple times instead of just once.

All this time, having back and forth with the support, each time they admit something is not the way it should - but nothing ever seems to get fixed.

Edit:
I opened a ticket regarding those issues. The support agent said that I should not report multiple alerts in a single ticket. So I created additional tickets regarding other alerts. They all just got closed because they want to have similar issues in one ticket.

Unreliable

Went to tradingview for one purpose: to create a screener. I created it, and it produced results. Unfortunately, many companies which satisfied the tests of the screener dod not appear. In the trading world, that is deadly. Simply, the screener is not reliable or trustworthy. When I contacted tradingview, I was told that the error was mine. It was not. Objectively, for many companies, the charts of which satisfied the parameters of the screen, they did not appear in the screen results.

TradingView has become garbage

TradingView has become garbage, before you had the real-time price of assets with a basic subscription, now you have a 10-minute delay with the basic subscription, which is forcing you to buy a more expensive one to get the data you used to have with a basic subscription.

I’ve been using the TradingView Premium…

I’ve been using the TradingView Premium plan for about three years now, and overall I have very few complaints. As a charting app for retail traders, I personally consider it the best option out there.

There are times when I feel the chart data updates a bit slowly, so I’d be happy to see improvements in that area.

I was curious why there are so many low ratings in the reviews, so I skimmed through them. From what I saw, quite a few clearly look like scam reviews intended to redirect users to other services. Since TradingView is a well-known platform, I think it has become a target for such promotion scams.

Functionally, TradingView is constantly being updated, and you can clearly see the progress day by day. I look forward to seeing how the platform continues to evolve in the future.

Spreading negativity

Whenever stock is increasing, it's publishing old negative news intentionally and trying to spread negativity, it's trying to impact stock momentum by publishing years back old news and showing it as new. Very bad and unprofessional.

I paid for an annual Plus subscription…

I paid for an annual Plus subscription by mistake cancelled it immediately and tradingview never refunded the money I got to know that after cancelling your subscription you still need to send a refund request to support team and they state clearly that even if it is after 14 days and your case is legit and special they will look into it, so I made the refund request and today is the fourth day no one has even sent me a mail concerning my situation tradingview is a scam company they are only interested in taking your money that's all they do

Garbage support

Garbage support

they take days to get to you and there's only one identity i have talked with named James B (James Bond that you..??)
they won't necessarily actually read what you're asking.. they will just give you what seems like an automated bot response which is unfortunate for a paying customer,, there should be wayyy more support considering some packages are like 50$+ a month.. so please save your money and either use the free version or another chartting system!! :)
