I’ve been around commodities markets…
I’ve been around commodities markets for most of my life, and I don’t say this lightly—this is one of the most disappointing financial platforms I’ve come across.
Trading Economics presents itself as a source of market insight, but what you actually get is surface-level price data with little to no meaningful commentary. There’s no real analysis, no depth, and nothing that helps a serious trader understand why markets are moving.
Worse, the quality of the news content raises concerns about credibility. When a platform fails to provide clear, reliable context, it makes you question the accuracy of the data itself—and in this business, trust is everything.
If you’re looking for raw numbers, you might find some use here. But if you’re looking for insight, interpretation, or anything you can base real decisions on, this falls short.
One star.

worst service quality you will ever experience in your life
The quality of their services is bad beyond any imagination, something you have never experienced before.
I upgraded my subscription, they charged me for both at the same time.
They had to manually upgrade my trial, which I had to write an email for.
They don't respond to emails except you write them on their website. They make a question, you respond, except they never read it. That's how bad things are...
They are extremely expensive for this diabolical level of service.
I had to write them 6 emails in under a month, facing permanent issues.
I paid 14 days ago for the full trial, still haven't been able to use it. They will probably have to manually change it again...
I know they have a monopole on the data, but you are really better off mapping data out yourself and not using their service.
I really can't tell how this copmany is still operating on the market
AVOID AT ALL COST
AVOID AT ALL COST. I signed up for a “free trial,” which charged me $49 to check the forecast. However, the forecast was not even available. When I asked for a refund, they refused to give it, even though I had not used it at all. I also doubt their data is legit.
The worst scam I have ever been trapped
This is the worst trading service I have ever tried. There is no billing management. There is no button or webpage to process cancellation while in trial period. And the worst is that everything that related to billing is done via an contact webpage that I guest the team behind have to process it manually, instead of automatic work flow.
This is a scam
Shady pricing and charge
I used the free trial which is not free, it costs 49 dollars. I cancelled when I realized it was not free. I asked the cancellation via email and they replied. One week after they charged me another 199! I am disputing the charge and hope it will be cancelled soon. Very bad experience.
Big fee now to look at older charts
Big fee now to look at older charts. No thanks
Using TE for a couple years but now.....
I have been using TE for a couple years now, not a recent user and not using it for all data points, exclusively looking at CPI 1 time per month, so to my surprise I logged in this month (Feb) and noticed i can no longer view historical data!!! now they want me to pay!!! Whelp there goes another user. I will migrate over to another platform.
Trading Economics data is accurate
The data you get from Trading Economics is accurate, often straight from sources, and the site is very clean having very few ads. Certainly, is not cheap if you decide to subscribe, but you get way more value than from an expensive Bloomberg terminal.
fake website with fake datas
fake website with fake datas , no sources

Very-very helpful site
Very-very-very helpful site! Lots of info - all major indices, stat, news, analysis - thank you very much!
It's a scam
It's a scam. The idea that their security layer is Issued by a very well known company is also questionable. I do not recommend. Look somewhere else.
If I could leave zero stars I would
If I could leave zero stars I would. This website is a scam. It charges you straight away and even if you cancel within the 7 days, you will not be refunded. Also the content is very limited. stay away!
SCAM
SCAM! They lure you in with deceptive marketing, promising access to their data with a week trial... They then charged me 50USD for a week trial!!! and once inside I COULD NOT DOWNLOAD THE DATA THAT I WAS LOOKING FOR IN THE FIRST PLACE!
Now I'm battling with them to get my money back, and they say they cannot find my payment! I am contacting my bank to issue a chargeback.. Incredible way to steal from people and make them waste their time in battles over stolen money.
AVOID THIS SITE LIKE THE PEST
SCAM.
SCAM.
I was on the website and it prompted me to sign up to download the data. It says "Trial Week" and I thought the Trial Week was free. Before I knew it, I am paying $49 for something that I do not have much use for.
In addition, naming the one-week access as a "Trial Week" is already misleading as it is because trials are usually free.
Honestly seeing how most people reviewed that they feel scammed shows the integrity of the website. Trading Economics misrepresents vital information in order to profit, which is a really disgusting move.
Stay away from this website.
A SCAM
A SCAM! After 49 dollars for the trial period. You pay 199 per month and the website does not give any email confirmation of your membership. Paid 649 dollars for nothing.
