The 8000.00 I spent on the Platinum membership was paid for in less than 2 months. I knew selling puts was a great way to make money. With the addition of the tools provided just made me so confident. My thought was to take a pool of cash and siphon off it, without draining the pool. This membership has made it a reality. I am still blown away by the countless and I mean countless analytical tools in the TradeSmith Finance Web-based tool. I am in the tool a minimum of 12 times a day and most days more. What I love most are the invaluable analytics when researching a potential new stock/ETF to buy or deciding to keep or sell an existing stock when it flags RED or even yellow. The tool even provides you with Insider buying or selling and BIG MONEY flowing into or out of stock. This is NOT easy information to find outside of TradeSmith. Absolutely invaluable information. Customer Service needs training on servicing customers! Or at least really vet the staff answering phones.
I contacted Tradesmith and the agent that answered insisted that I contacted Tradesmith at the beginning of March and Tradesmith had a recording of this conversation. She went on to claim I should not have any questions regarding my refund in merch credit in lieu of being refunded the $ amount due to this call she claimed I Initiated. I insisted I had not made this call - but twice she insisted that I made this call and she had a recording of this call - then asked if she could place me on hold - you guessed it - she never came back on. The follow-up call I made wasn't any better - I didn't expect this type of interaction with TradeSmith.

They have a 100% Customer Satisfaction Guarantee, but will only issue a credit, not a refund. With a credit, I'm not 100% satisfied, so they don't live up to their guarantee. I've tried several of their products, but they're not very good, so a credit is worthless. A good company with great products lets you try them, and if you don't like them, refunds your money. That's 100% Customer Satisfaction Guarantee. Holding on to my money and tricking me into a refund by using a 100% Customer Satisfaction Guarantee creates a bad reputation, as shown by the very poor reviews here. Do the right thing and refund my money, and I'll report that you lived up to your 100% Customer Satisfaction Guarantee.

SCAM! This is a very time intensive service. Their very long video claims that you can try for a full refund for 90 days. I tried for less than 30. They are claiming that they do not refund your money. If there was a zero stars option, that’s what I would give TradeSmith. They try to state that it clearly says a Marketwise refund, but that was not clear in the marketing video. I'm obviously not the only person that felt it that it would be a credit back to my card. Multiple other reviews state the same as what I am saying.

They can't even get the basics right. Half the point of this site is for tracking your trades. I can't access the data in my portfolios in anywhere near enough precision. I have brought this simple request multiple times. It is information I entered. They have a pathetic csv export that cuts off way too many decimal places in shares and prices, sometimes showing only a single significant figure, which leads to inaccurate information for many of my trades once exported. They have the full data. It is in the edit areas, and I also used to be able to extract it from the static html of the tables by running my own script. They changed the code to remove the information from the static html, so I can no longer access it that way. I made a new script to navigate between the edit area pages of my portfolio. THE WEBSITE BLOCKED ME FOR NAVIGATING TOO QUICKLY. This is my OWN INFORMATION I am trying to access, not even anything calculated by tradesmith. It's number of shares and prices. I think they are doing this intentionally to trap people on the platform. It is unnecessary, dumb, and revolting.
I prefer to record my trades in a single place, here, for efficiency. After all, I spent $6k or more on a platinum membership plus hundreds in annual maintenance fees. The ability to record trades is not asking much, not anything. But the time I've wasted trying to get basic information from tradesmith has caused tax delays and hours of my time. This request is not one I should have to fight for or even ask for!
I filed a complaint with the BBB that hasn't been addressed. The interface was never that great, but is becoming increasingly inefficient to use, with pointless charts and other annoying navigational interference before seeing your portfolio. Not to mention there are impossibly dumb bugs like not being able to change portfolio cash to $0. The mobile app has never seen an update and is completely useless. I've been a member since 2020 and don't think they've ever fixed a single thing I've brought up.

Like many others, I’ve experienced nothing but losses in their Super AI Portfolio. But beyond performance - which I understand can be "unpredictable" - there’s another major reason to steer clear—particularly if you’re a non‑US subscriber.
When I signed up, trade alerts were advertised as arriving the day before. They later changed this to 30 minutes after the opening bell. In my time zone, that’s already close to midnight. In reality, however, alerts don’t arrive until 3–4am! By the time I see them, the trading day is gone, and the stock or option has often gapped dramatically—likely due to mass selling from other subscribers.
For example, two alerts I missed last night moved 20-30% down in overnight trading. What TradeSmith may record as a 10% gain (ANY gain being rare in this AI portfolio), I end up booking as a 10% loss.
Their marketing claimed backtested returns of ~350% ARR. Yet by their own dashboard, the portfolio is down –15% since launch in October, while the S&P is up 4% over the same period. This isn’t a short slump—it’s been 4–5 months of steady, heavy losses, with most trades ending down more than 10%. For international subscribers like me, delayed exit signals make the losses even worse.
I’ve emailed support repeatedly asking them to either:
- honor the promised 9:30am ET alert timing, or
- provide alternative exit guidance for those who can’t act in time,
Plus a few general questions on how to use the platform.
They simply don’t respond. I even scheduled a support call (after a 3‑week wait), and the representative never showed up!
In short: poor performance, broken promises, and nonexistent support. If you’re outside the US, the timing issue alone makes this service unusable. I WISH I'd read these TrustPilot reviews before forking over $5,000 for a life time membership (oh, but you still have to pay ~$350/year "maintenance fee").
I'm sure they will comment on this with a boilerplate response, just like they do with every other negative review here. But if they really cared about their customers they would simply respond to one of the many support request I've written over the last 3 months.

They have a slick advertising campaign with lots of options to help guide you through the investing world... All the options sound fantastic and they are able to create this desire to get one over on the stock market usually aimed at the non-professional investor... Purchased Tradestops many years ago with a lifetime membership, but I was too busy with my day job to really utilize it so I let the yearly renewal elapse... I recently watched the presentation again and decided that It would help me manage my portfolio... I found it just doesn't make sense... it will give a sell recommendation on a stock that you've held for quite a while which if you were to sell you could get hit with a hefty capital gains tax... Immediately after renewing that subscription for another lifetime, I began to get bombarded with slick advertising presentations for more infallible investment systems... AI assisted, social media assisted... they all sounded great... I fell for a couple... and after several thousand dollars of purchases I found myself with several thousand dollars more of losses.... I've come to the conclusion that this company is nothing more than financial snake oil salesmen... Buyer beware....

I foolishly subscribed to two $2500 subscriptions, for stocks and options. I followed Tradesmith’s guidance on options but have had way over 60% expire worthless. I’ve lost over $10,000, and now I’m reluctant to follow their advice anymore. I complained to customer service but received no satisfaction. Never again for me! Bill

I have been trying to reach support services via phone and email for help regarding my subscription but have not received any response. They have not been able to add one subscription in my services, so I can't use the service even after paying the money. The support service is practically useless and I feel totally frustrated and disappointed.

I listened to the hype. HECLA was at 33
Tradesmith stated that by the middle of February it would be at 41. Guess what, it's the end of January and it's at 23. Luckily I bought call and put options so I didn't loose my shirt. I could have made a lot more if I would have followed my own advice. Im still out the 314 bucks for Tradesmith.

Purchased the subscription to Trade cycles in January. I have contacted Customer Service several times and a lady named Kate called me back yesterday. I was talking and explaining to her I didn’t quite understand the set up and then I realize she was no longer on the phone. I would at least think she would’ve had the courtesy to call me back, but she did not. I really want to learn this program, but I’m not sure if it’s a scam or not.! One of the perks does not even begin until February 12.

Liked Luke, but he needs to know when to sell. Can’t have multiple portfolios expanding forever. Needs to fish or cut bait. Predictive alpha was not very predictive. Now there is prediction 2026. On the surface it seems different from predictive Alpha, but are the data used to generate the predictions fundamentally any different? Predictive alpha gives us a bunch of stocks good for a short period. prediction 2026 let us look up a stock and then tells us when it is likely to be productive. Is this an improvement over predictive Alpha in terms of returns?
