AVOID!! TPS Milton Keynes
TPS Milton Keynes, really poor service the guy on the phone advises no steering rack available in the country and I reached out to Audi who checked and advised TPS Oldham have one available, called MK branch back and the guy says oh yes but you will need to come by 17:00 to get next day I asked why I was given false information in the first instance and I have lost out on 4 days of work due not being able to make it before the time advised also the manager Neil who is a total waste of time advised he calls me on two occasions when he clearly didn’t and they don’t want to help at all and take 0 responsibility. Deffo avoid!
*****Imagine the above experience if you had to make a warranty claim. *******
TPS Cardiff Appalling service
TPS Cardiff Appalling service. Order a suspension arm for an Audi A2 which was extremely expensive at £200 which came with no ball joint or bushes so straight away i was shocked. The part was not needed in the end so sent part back, after waiting 4 days for them to pick it up from my garage then they decided to charge me £30 handling fee for something they can put back in stock and sell again. I will never purchase another item from TPS again. I was not informed at the time of purchase there was a handling charge on the item if i had to send it back. VW/Audi would be very disappointed in your lack of service to your customers.
A GREAT EXPERIENCE!
I am happy to announce a great experience. I ordered some parts from TPS old kent road and the whole transaction from initial phone call to order and on time delivery was excellent. Light hearted but professional sales team and found parts quickly. They did not have them in stock but checked dartford (I think ) and had them deliver it the same day to our garage as it was very urgent.
This level of service should not pass without giving credit where it's due. Well done TPS old Kent road!
Awful: Paid £270 for a genuine part for my…
Paid £270 for a genuine part for my car, a shock absorber. Was meant to have 2 years warranty and the top mount broke off within 3 months travelling down a motorway. Of course they wanted to inspect the part on the car which is fair, but they also tried every reason to get out of having to replace the part. Absolutely ridiculous to offer a 2 year warranty and not abide by it. Please do not order parts from this shambles company, as they will more than likely break and the warranty is as useful as a chocolate kettle.
TPS Barking
TPS Barking. Faulty part supplied and are now advising I need to take my car to a VW dealer to have a diagnostic performed before the part can be exchanged. £350 on a part which does not work and I also have a car which is not working. I have owned VAG group cars for 10 years and this will certainly be my last after this experience. Why sell original parts to independent garages if there is no guarantee provided. This must be illegal. Trading Standards will be informed.
Was quoted for some parts via email
Was quoted for some parts via email, said I would take them up on the offer, but was never got back to. No breakdown of the parts costs either. Looking at some of the reviews however, I'm glad that I was not able to make the purchase.
Managed to find the parts 25% cheaper elsewhere, so it's worth shopping around anyways.
The local branch needs to be retrained…
The local branch needs to be retrained to offer MSDS on oils and fluids..........it is a legal requirement to provide and they ain't got a clue.....spoke to Milton Keynes......equally as dazed by life........
TPS Swindon experience was very poor
I was told that the part i needed for my car could only be found at main dealers - so tried TPS.
Horrible experience that I would not wish on anyone. The Swindon branch manager is rude and horrible, even though they said that they would give a refund if the wrong part was provided, when I took it back, he initially refused. He suggested that the only reason I was returning was that I had found the part cheaper elsewhere. The part did not match the old on on my car, but he continued to assure me that it was the right part, I even offered for him to come out and look at the part on my car - he refused.
After confrontation, i finally got a refund and went to VW who gave me the right part at half the price - lesson learnt.... Avoid TPS like the plague.
TPS volkswagen
TPS volkswagen. Avoid the TPS Dartford branch. worsted experience I every had. The staff's are Unprofessional Unqualified Very neglecting uncomfortable to talk to. i wanted to return an item which was wrongly Purchased. They Refused to refund my money without giving me any Valid reason. They even tried using Coronavirus as a reason not to refund my money. what a shame because that didn't work they came up with something else They forcefully butting allegations against me that I made a special order for the part. which is not true. Now they are saying they cannot Accept electronic product back for a Refund. It's a (crankshaft sensor ) which is sealed in its original packaging . They Totally scamed £70.00 of me.
The head office Seriously needs to investigate the Dartford branch.
Somehow im trying to get the TPS head office Number if anyone knows.

Fantastic service
Fantastic service. I had been trawling the internet for a part that I was not sure about and had previously ordered from EBay. Guess what? Wrong part!
Called TPS, order the part and 45 mins later it was here. Correct part, fitted perfectly and was a great price. Top work!
TPS Reading
This is the attitude of staff in reading TPS specially Gorden . He is so bossy . I will not hesitate to contact head office . His attitude stinks Towards the customers . Spoken to one of the manager in the past . His attitude stinks too towards the customers .
TPS Ipswich are keeping the trade working during lock down
TPS Ipswich have kept my garage and my customers going during these uncertain times.
We look after quite a few key workers and carers vehicles and Ipswich TPS have come through keeping us supplied with essential parts so these good people can keep mobile and keep saving other peoples lives.
Most of us independent workshops ARE still open and being very careful and thoughtful about hygiene with peoples vehicles, making sure that we clean down everything after any work has been carried out to keep us, the customer and therefore other people safe during this pandemic.
I've heard reports of private individuals going into branches of TPS and asking for body panels and bits of trim! Wake up people, was that an essential journey? Errrm........NO!
As a TRADE parts supplier I don't understand the negative reviews from the public when they haven't been able to get served, In my book Trade is Trade.
I cannot go into a plumbers merchant and expect to get trade parts as I'm a mechanic not a plumber.
My business as a VAG specialist would be lost without Ipswich TPS so thank you and keep up the good work.
This would have been a great review…
This would have been a great review until my latest visit.
Stood waiting to be served for fifteen minutes and blatantly ignored by every member of staff in store. So I took my business to another parts supplier.
Looks like their customer service is now on par with their parent company.
Brilliant service with good price.
