I just noticed that of 18 May 2026, this TPG mob has double charged me by automatic debit for two phone accounts. This has happened with them previously. They are sneaky as you cannot contact them... See more

Way to expensive. They offer dismal support. Anything beyond turn it off and on again will take them days to even look at. When you call you speak to an ai. More expensive for inferior product, where does the money go?

TPG telecom is the worst company I have ever dealt with.
Since the migration of my phone service from iiNet they have lost me thousands and thousand's of dollars. They lost my business phone number for over a week- no phone at all! I spent every day all day on the phone to people I couldn't even understand. My receptionist was also on the phone to them every day trying to resolve the issue. Still no result - over a week no phone. Finally they sent me a replacement phone which is the worst phone I have ever used.
My business is a medical centre. TPG sent us the most basic handset phone you have ever seen with no screen. You cant even check voice messages on it .....
Every time I have called (every day for 2 weeks) I get passed off to every department where I have to explain the whole story over and over again- to someone I cant even understand. 3 weeks down the track Im still no where close to the end of the story. I still now have to change companies because the phone is hopeless and I cant wait any longer. As we are a medical centre the phone service is very important to our business. I explained this to them and asked them to send out a technician. They said "oh no- that is the very last thing they will do when all else fails." Meanwhile my business is losing thousands every day.
I don't even want to give them 1 star. They don't deserve any stars.
Dealing with TPG Telecom has been the worst and most stressful experience I have had in a long time.
Don't do it.

I’ve had an extremely frustrating experience with TPG. Their customer service is genuinely some of the worst I’ve dealt with. Long wait times, constant transfers between departments, and no clear accountability. Every time I called, I felt like I had to re-explain the issue from scratch.
On top of that, their website feels incredibly outdated and difficult to navigate. Basic tasks like finding account details or managing services are unnecessarily complicated. The layout is clunky, pages load slowly, and important information is buried in confusing menus. It honestly feels like a system that hasn’t been properly updated in years.
For a major telecommunications provider, I expected a far more professional and user-friendly experience. Unfortunately, both the customer support and online platform fall well below standard.
I am on their FTTB connection in Sydney, using the Vision network. I get drop-outs every day. When I call customer support, they raise a ticket, escalate, then it gets closed the day after before the drop-outs re-occur. Every time I call, I have to re-explain everything from scratch, as if they have no records of my previous calls or history of the service. Rinse and repeat dozens of times. Previously on Aussie Broadband in the same location, not a single drop-out in 3 years. Will be moving back to Aussie Broadband.

Wish I had read these reviews before signing up to them. Tried to cancel my mobil number when overseas and was nothing short of a nightmare. I could cancel my car insurance in live chat, 5mins and value was 20 times the amount, completely ridiculous TPG
Stay away from the company, hidden fees and charges...
The worst service providers - be prepared to be passed between teams, waste too many hours on the phone trouble shooting. The departments wifi and mobile dont even commincate between functions. Dont bother if you value your time, more stress than its worth

Absolute shocker. TPG haven’t updated their systems in years and nothing seems to work properly. Tried to pay via Credit Card, their app is terrible, online is worse and after 90 minutes I gave up and changed provider. Their customer service has been offshored and nobody seems to care.
I’m back to Origin , at least they know what they’re doing

Well it gets worse every time I deal with TPG. They took me through another process and claimed they have fixed it but it is still the same. MINUS TEN STARS!
eSim swap failed and it deactivated my physical Sim. Now I can't log in & TPG service still can't fix it after a week and 5 calls to TPG support. Unbelievably bad service. ZERO STARS. They keep telling me it's been dealt with but nothing changes. ZERO STARS
Now they want me to use social media when their support team are unable to fix the issue, and keep sending emails telling me it's been fixed!!! . MINUS FIVE STARS. HOW BAD CAN TPG GET!!!!!

After 5 years, TPG showed they care more about "new" sales than existing customers. They refused to match a new-customer discount for my house move, even when I warned them I would leave (I was upgrading from NBN 50 to NBN 500). When I finally cancelled, they had the nerve to try and sell me a mobile plan. It's clear they are pivoting away from quality NBN service. I'm now with Leaptel and it’s the best move I've made.
very bad service, My replacement e-sim card cannot activated for 7 days now. Filled out all forms what they ask, digital id, numbers of questions answered, call them every day, spent hours to wait for answer then they said to wait, and every time they promised but still nothing. Very disappoited and frustrated with TPG team, because my number is not active atm I cannot change to different company and keep same phone numbers.!!! TPG NEVER AGAIN
VERY DISAPPOINTED!

Service outages are constant, and the SLAs are poor and mean nothing. Account managers take a very long time to respond or to action requests - if ever. Support don't bother giving updates on outages or support requests. Overall service quality and support, which resulted in multiple TIO complaints and an eventual disconnection with a new provider being chosen. Anything is better than TPG it seems, and these reviews confirm my experience is not isolated.

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE WITH CUSTOMER SERVICE.
Its just a simple Esim swap and we are on day 4 and its still not resolved.
Its 2026 - how hard is it to generate a new QR code?!?!?

Terrible customer service — even one star is too generous.
The phone support wait time is ridiculously long. The automated recording says you can log in to your account to register a fault, but once logged in there is no such option. When you click “Contact,” it leads to a “page not found” error and then logs you out completely.
After finally getting through to support, they still couldn’t resolve the issue and said someone would contact me later. No one ever did.
Frustrating, time-wasting, and completely unhelpful. I would not recommend TPG based on this experience.

6 days with @TPG_Telecom
11 calls.
2 emails.
7 “complaint responses” for ONE complaint.
Result?
Zero resolution. Zero service.
New customer. eSIM never activated.

TPG is without doubt the worst company that I've ever dealt with.
It's Customer Service Representatives are both incompetent and downright liars.
They will offer you every apology under the sun but will simply pass you from one useless CSO to another after you've been waiting on 'hold' for ages, even hours.
If you want to waste days of your life then go ahead and sign up with them but don't say that you haven't been warned.
Worst ever ! Can’t even describe how much trouble this company get you.
Would not recommend anyone to use TPG. Came down to Australia for 3 months ago. And I cancelled or tried to. And I do have problems with them still and I have done all I can.

If they were there to help, why had this not been fixed in 4 months? TPG agents are liar and whole company is full of shit
