Cooking class? Try sketchy scavenger hunt.

I'm giving this experience ONE star, but this company gets an A+... in driving away eager families, denying prepaid service, and failing to meet all described expectations advertised on their page! What you don't know about is how truly frustrating this class is to navigate. Though we drove with an experienced Milan local via displayed address, she herself could not locate where to go. We dragged ourselves through the complex zones of Milano Centrale completely lost, having to ask multiple strangers where the class would be. After going up and down stairs and hallways, we discovered the class tucked away in the *very back* of a random hallway at the station. The listed policy states the class began at 6:30, but what they don't tell you is that you *must* be there 15 minutes early, or denied complete service. On top of being refused the entire class for being behind, due to the obvious navigation flaw, we didn't recieve any of the physical components either: the chef's hat, aprons, and cooking certificate completely denied. After arriving outside of this extremely strict derective, our family was rudely turned away, receiving absolutely none of what we paid for. This company REEKS of scamming confused tourists and taking advantage of unsuspecting families: sending them on a scavenger hunt with no prize but severe disappointment at the end.

Confirmed and Paid Bookings Are NOT honored

Don't plan your day around a cooking class with Towns of Italy cooking School in Florence, Italy. They do not honor confirmed reservations and simply blame everyone else in sight. Our family booked and paid for a cooking class which was confirmed. When we arrived they denied we had a confirmed reservation despite our showing the confirmation e-mail.
