This course was brilliant for my 10 year old son who had previously tried other touch typing courses. The modules were broken up with engaging games that helped to maintain his interest throughout. The regular feedback helped to encourage and focus his learning in ways that previous courses could not. Our tutor was always prompt in her responses and able to flex weeks around our time schedule at our request . I would thoroughly recommend this course for anyone looking for a motivating and fun way to learn such an important skill.

I have known Type It for over 10 years and both of my children have benefited greatly. The time taken to get to know each individual child and their approach to learning as well as the detailed but accessible and meaningful feedback each week has been incredible. The program itself is engaging, accessible, and above all it really works. Within a matter of weeks, my son not only became proficient touch typist, but the benefits extended far beyond into improvement in academic and exams and a massive boost for his confidence. It was like he had been given a special pair of trainers that allowed him to run as fast as all the others. Being able to touch type has enabled my son to connect his thoughts with his writing. It’s a skill for life, and starting early means no bad habits are introduced. I cannot thank Wendy and her team of tutors enough for giving my boys, the skills for life.

I thought the course was well structured and at an affordable price. I also found the twice weekly feedback from my tutor Olivia invaluable and spurred me on to complete the course which I don't think I would otherwise have done. I would highly recommend the course to anyone who is new to touchtyping.

My son learned touch typing with Type IT for his Duke of Edinburgh award. It was a brilliant experience. He could learn from home and choose the convenient time to practice, yet Wendy's feedback and guidance via weekly reports and videos made the course very personal and felt closely supervised as in a classroom. The staff were all lovely and really helped me out throughout the entire 10 week course. I would always receive feedback each work which would help me out in understanding my strengths and weaknesses. Since using the course, my typing skills have really improved. I would definitely recommend the course to others.

My son and two of his friends enrolled on touch-typing. They all learnt to touch-type. Jude, the trainer, was fantastic with the boys, showing an incredible amount of patience and ensured parents were kept up to date of progress and the 10 minute practice sessions boys had to do at home.

Our year 9 daughter enrolled in the Type IT course as she's using the keyboard extensively at school. We didn't know if she was going to engage with the learning experience but we didn't need to worry, as soon as the course started it held her attention, the tasks kept her focused and interested.
There's a great mix of "work" and play , the screen layout is perfect to see work errors or progression with accuracy and speed clearly displayed . But feed back from the tutors normally focused on slowing down to improve accuracy and speed improving with time, not effort.
A thoroughly worthwhile course that will be used forever and give our daughter an advantage in life.

Regular feedback, prompt support, continuous encouragement to keep going. I would recommend Type IT! Touch Typing. My daughter did it for her Silver DofE and has achieved a great result.

My two children (ages 13 and 10) did the half-term course and found the 2 hr lessons the right amount of time with great support and instruction from the tutor. There was helpful feedback after lessons to encourage them and areas to focus on.
We did find the pre-course material and links challenging (most didn't work and needed following up before start). Once the booking was confirmed, would be helpful to have Amazon link for velcro dots and easier/simpler preparation material/checklist.

Great course for Duke of Edinburgh skill. Very easy to deal with, constructive and supportive feedback given. Links in with DoE programme very well. Would recommend.

Fantastic service from start to finish. Really helpful videos for each section. Content was well paced and kept my son motivated and engaged from start to finish. Weekly feedback was timely, clear and well structured. Really exceeded my expectations, thank you!

My daughter recently completed the Type IT! 12 week course for her DofE. It’s been such a fantastic skill to learn, that she can now take a with her as she progresses through her school/university and then her work life over the next few years. The communication and regular feedback from her tutor Sharon was excellent, which kept her motivated and on track to progress through the course successfully. I would recommend the skill of learning to touch type and have no hesitation in recommending Type IT!

Type IT! Touch Typing were absolutely brilliant. They were really thorough with great tips and careful supervision for my son to really get into good habits and he improved vastly. The Duke of Edinburgh angle worked so well and I highly recommend using this company to help them with a new skill. Huge thanks to Kirsty in particular who was brilliant at tailoring the work to my son's needs. Very much appreciated!

Shantelle was lovely and had a very calm presents. My son is 10 with autism and dyslexia and his handwriting was illegible. Now he can fluently touch type he’s able to get his thoughts on paper so it has been a life changing skill she has taught him. My son had no problem going to his lesson with Shantelle and I think that’s because the way Shantelle was with him. My son can be very difficult to take to classes and adjusting to new settings so we can not thank her enough
