Superb course for DofE
My daughter did the 12 week touch typing course for her DofE skill. I was a bit sceptical about it, thinking she would be ‘going through the motions’ just to get the tick in the box, but I was so wrong. What a great course! The tutor was excellent; giving really helpful feedback promptly every week and tailoring the pace to suit my daughter. She spent the first couple of weeks flailing about a bit, convinced she would never get the hang of it, but she persevered and followed all of the advice she was given, and finished the course typing with 100% accuracy and a respectable 31 wpm. I am so pleased that she has gained this valuable skill and is keen to continue practising to further improve. I am seriously considering doing the course myself now!

Great touch typing course
My daughter (aged 13) did the course for DOE. It was well structured and with a bit of perseverance my daughter can now touch type well. The weekly feedback provided lesson details to complete each period and with regular practice it worked!

Great help for kids with dyslexia
After having attempted a few other programs, my two sons followed the Type IT! dyslexia program. It wasn't a fast track, but both are now proficient at touch typing and use their new skill in class and during exams.

Our daughter enrolled on the touch typing course for the new skill element of her Duke of Edinburgh award and we had the best experience with relevant guidance and feedback. She completed the course with flying colours. Everyone should do this course - fantastic life skill.

My 11 year old took a course from Type IT and really loved it. His tutor Mahima was fantastic. She was so calm and patient and very encouraging. My kid used to look forward to her feedback every week. He can now type with 100% accuracy and his speed is increasing with practice. My 13 year old daughter did a TypeIT course as part of her Duke of Edinburgh award. She really enjoyed the sessions and the experience of improving week by week. The weekly feed back from the allocated teacher was a very helpful and motivating. Touch typing is such a useful skill. Would highly recommend.

Totally exceeded my expectations
The course totally exceeded my expectations. The software was excellent and the tutor was fantastic. She really knew how to teach typing in a kind but very effective way. I still cannot believe how much my son learnt in just 4 days. I couldn’t recommend it highly enough. It is a skill all children should have.

Wendy was fantastic
Wendy was fantastic, caring and supportive. Worked at the pace of my son who has sen needs. I would recommend her to anyone. It has helped my son and his school work as he can touch type and get down the information quicker. He can use a laptop as part of his EHCP. He has tried several other typing programmes previously but didn't work as it was independant. Having Wendy supporting him on zoom, it worked for him.
