Signed up for service with this company…

Signed up for service with this company because I wasn't happy with Metro by T-Mobile and one thing that I thought was odd at first is that you have to do identity verification to qualify for one of their free phone promos. Even Straight Talk doesn't make you do this. The phone did arrive and I was only charged for the base plan of $40 so it was a pretty good deal but I changed my mind before the phone got here after I talked to Boost Mobile and one of the agents at Total told me they couldn't cancel my order even though it had not shipped yet. They said I would have to refuse the package and when they got it back from UPS they could process a refund. I ended up just activating it but I wish I would have went with Boost. Not only are they cheaper but the customer service isn't as bad. Total wireless has no English speaking agents and there is always a long wait. I called in yesterday to ask a question and the guy on that answered my call was talking and I couldn't understand a word he said. Also the website is glitchy too and it's just not like other carriers like Cricket or Metro. It's almost like Trac Fone. The chatbot on the site is useless as there is no way to reach an actual live agent. Verizon is notorious for horrible customer service so I'm not surprised. I have switched over to ATT prepaid. It's a little more expensive but in life you get what you pay for. $40 a month isn't terrible for unlimited but after what I have read online about Total wireless I just don't trust them and to avoid an annoying long wait and not being able to understand the agent I am letting my phone number go and I'm cancelling my cash app card that's on auto pay with them

Total wireless 6901 Ockeechobe…

Total wireless 6901 Ockeechobe Boulevard. We went to find out about there deals and we met one of the most beautiful ladies Tish. She was very knowledgeable and she has a remarkable gift of customer service. I would recommend anyone to that store as long as Tish is there. I am truly grateful to have walked in and met her. We love our phones and we are truly pleased to be apart of the Total Wireless family. May God shower you with lots of new customers.

Horrible customer service

The phone is great, however getting the phone through Total Wireless using the loyalty credit they offer is a real problem. We tried upgrading 4 phones using credits we had and only one transaction went smoothly. We had to go through several agents to get the first phone because they kept trying to tell us we couldn’t use the credit for iPhones even though their website shows the credit is applied and the transaction is completed for iPhones. With the third phone we had to file an FCC complaint because their system flagged the transaction as fraudulent for no reason at all and wouldn’t give us our credit back even though it was an error on their part. The fourth phone is currently under an FCC complaint also for the same fraud issue. It seems like they try to get out of allowing people to use the credit that they promise. Very disappointing and dishonest to treat customers this way

EXCESSIVE FALSE ADVERTISING AND FLATOUT…

EXCESSIVE FALSE ADVERTISING AND FLATOUT NOT HONORING MAIL FLYER PROMOTIONS, REP ADMITTED TO ME THAT ONE OF THEIR PRIORITIES IS TO MAKE SURE CUSTOMERS PAY AT LEAST 40.00 A MONTH OR MORE FOR ANY PLAN, 25.00 PLANS ADVERTISING ON STORE POSTERS OR EMAILS OR FLYERS IS A BAIT-AND-SWITCH TATIC! SERVICE AGENTS LIE WHENEVER POSSIBLE AND IF YOU SOMEHOW REACH A 'BILLING AGENT OR SUPPOSED BILLING MGR', HE/SHE WILL NOT BUDGE OFF OF THE 40.00 MONTHLY RATE YOUR PAYING, EVEN IF YOU CALLED A LOCAL STATION ADVOCACY OR ATTORNEY GENERAL FOR ASSISTANCE WITH PROOF OF FALSE ADVERTISING. SOMETIMES CALLS DROP BUT OVERALL PHONE SERVICE WAS GREAT ON WESTCOAST.

Where's my purchased order

I went to a totalwireless store to get a transfer code to change carrier but had a hard time getting a transfer code once I was able to get it with a representative that the store sales person contacted I was asked why I'm transferring my service I told her that I would like to keep my cellphone number and that I couldn't keep it no other way since I don't have access to my email or cell number she offered to have one shipped to me and I would be able to transfer my number over that way I said sure why not so i gave my bank card number and confirmed my mailing address three times even paid extra for rush delivery this all took place December 29th by January 2nd I called total wireless asking where is my order the representative didn't know cause there wasn't no tracking number available he considered it must be slow shipping since it was a holiday weekend I ended up calling every day since to where and when will I receive it well yesterday I finally was given a tracking number and was told that it should be delivered today so I waited all day nothing came so I called UPS customer service asking why I haven't received my order so I provided tracking number and the address wasn't correct after I confirmed the address when I made the order and confirmed it with an representative all week so how was the address incorrect not only that UPS tells me they have shipped it back to sender I said how you've only made one attempt they said they been trying to make the delivery since the 2nd of January how when I wasn't even provided a tracking number until yesterday I asked Total wireless rep can you correct the shipping address and resend it next day express but was told no we have to refund your money I was in disbelief of how careless and lack of information was provided to me I truly feel like someone sabotaged my order they didn't provide me no tracking number and the address was incorrect after it was confirmed on the day of the purchase and the multiple calls I made to find out about the phone but today when I spoke to them they suddenly had the wrong address in their system for the first time it was clearly set up for me not to receive my order no body will help me I lost a lot of business not having my cellphone I feel I should be compensated for the mental stress now I have to go back and get an transfer pen which I know is going to take all day to do its wrong how these businesses treat consumers

Loyal customer 15 years for nothing...

I have been a loyal customer for 15 years. Their customer service is always been on the lower side. But, even with the problems I've had with them we stayed. Today was my breaking point. We've been saving up our points doing auto pay which you're supposed to be able to use for a month of service. Last month I called she told me I had over 6,000 points and would be able to do that this month because I had already been billed. So today when I called to use those points they told me I only had 1,000 points. Well where did the other 5,000 go? Every time we have gone to use points they're mysteriously gone. And today was the last time they're doing this to us. I pay for two phones through of them. They do not care about their customers, they don't care if you're a loyal customer that's been there for years or not. You're nothing but dollars to them. I am going to look for another company to go through at this point. I'm frustrated and had enough.

They deserve no stars

They deserve no stars. They're customer service does not understand English.
They asked to verify a phone number after I returned the phone.
They hung up on me twice because I could not verify a phone number I have no phone for.
The last agent verified via email proving a phone verification is not the only way.
I spent over 6 hours on chat with a dozen tech support agents, half of which abandoned the chat.
Worst customer service I have ever experienced.

WORST PHONE SERVICE IN HISTORY

Total Wireless is the ABSOLUTE WORST PHONE SERVICE IN WORLD HISTORY.
Since I started with them in August they have continually taken my 50 monthly payment for unlimited Data and then repeatedly switch me to some lifeline service that I NEVER HAVE SIGNED UP FOR
I don't even know what it is. Though I explain this every month in person when I pay my bill and online when they start the games every month. I was a Roofer till I fell and now I trade to make money and they shut me off the other night , after I just got put back on earlier that day , right as I was trading and caused me to lose $1100.00
It is always people who aren't Americans that answer and they must be stupid because they always say it's fine but it isn't.
I would like 5 mins alone with one of them idiots. Please stay away from this NO GOOD SCAM COMPANY

The cellular signal is poor even inside the city. But I was told it is a high speed internet service.

I bought a prepaid Total Wireless service at my local Target. I was told is a high speed internet service. I just realized the cellular signal is very poor right after I paid and inserted sim into the device. But it was late to recognize it because the tech guy told it is not refundable. The Total Wireless told they are not responsible for purchased it in Target. So, most likely I have to use my Bank to withdraw my money for a fraud sale.

Billing and Service Nightmare

They double billed me and refused to provide service or a refund for over a year. I chatted with them numerous times and received numerous promises that were not kept. It was infuriating. They are a horrid company.

ZERO STAR RATING

I rated it a one star only because I could not give it a 0. Service stops working completely each month halfway through the month although I have service until the 31st of each month. Customer service is terrible. Each month they have to update my new phone stating that it has been corrected and will not happen again. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
