Horrible Experience
Bought a product in December, but was never emailed anything about the order other than the order number have had to call multiple times to now sort this order out. It's now almost March and I have called 5 times, I still have not received my refund although I have been promised by multiple customer service staff.

shocking online service. i ordered a matching swimwear set. they sent me the bottoms and said tops no longer available. i was furious as i paid freight for two items and got half the outfit, which is useless.
then i ordered some sunglasses three weeks ago and still have received them.

Just simply not helpful
Brought a Gazebo. Paid $269.00 for it. I then found it online for 167.00. at the same online store. Same make. So I called them and after being on hold for 22 minutes explained the situation. Was told in no uncertain terms that they don’t price-match items on the website and on sale. I told her that was totally unacceptable and asked to speak to the manager. I was then informed that I had two choices. Accept a $50.00 voucher or they could try to ring the courier to get the item back. Then I could apply for a refund and buy the cheaper one. What an absolute load of crap. The items were the same, why couldn’t they just change the price? What was the point of getting one back and then sending out the same thing? We have spent a lot of money with these guys including 2 top of the line Trek electric bikes. But I will never step inside that business again. Looking at some of the reviews below, I am not the only one.

Absolutely shocking!!! I get bombarded with social media posts promoting 60% discounts and trying to actually spend money with this company is pretty much impossible.
I went to the Albany store to purchase a 2 person Hideaway tent and the staff member behind the counter told me there is only water damaged stock and I’m best to shop online so I went online to purchase free click and collect and it states you’re advised to contact the store you want to collect from to confirm that they do actually have stock otherwise you’ll be charged for delivery to the store (kinda cancels out the “Free” part) so I called the nearest store to me in Newmarket Westfield to check and I was told they don’t have any but Albany, Botany and Mt Wellington does. I then called the Mt Wellington store to confirm but a customer service member answers so I explain what I’m trying to do and the whole “Free click and collect” issue. She tells me Botany has 1, Mt Wellington has 5 and Albany has about 30!!!
I told her I’d just been in the Albany store and the staff member told me none in stock only water damaged and shop online which she said couldn’t be the case. Anyways I say I’ve left the Albany store and I’m heading home and other nearest store is Mt Wellington so as you’ve told me they have 5, if I choose Free click and collect from this store I won’t be charged any store delivery charges? She says she can’t confirm this so I ask can she please check with the store as I’m happy to drive there and pick up, she puts me on hold and when she answers again she says the only have a display model in stock!!!! Lmao, honestly, maybe have a system of keeping your stock up to date. Needless to say I won’t be buying anything from Torpedo 7 (even if I could) ever!
Horrific experience with warranty…
Horrific experience with warranty claims on an ebike.
T7 have had the bike for a month, made no attempt to file a warranty claim with the manufacturer, have not responded to any emails, phone calls or Facebook messages.
They are not worth purchasing big ticket items from, because if something goes wrong, they will make no attempt to make good on warranty or offer any help whatsoever.
The bike shop blames the warranty team. The warranty team do not respond to emails so there is nothing i can do to push the situation. The guy at the bike shop will say he will call you the next day and then NEVER DOES. when I call him, he belittles the frustration I feel and claims he's doing his best.

Before Xmas I ordered a 10ft trampoline mat - for Xmas after 3 weeks worried as no contact from them - hanging on for ages to call them they told me it will be coming from Hamilton and has not been dispatched - was a bit grumpy as will not be here for Xmas for the G Children - so asked for a refund and to Cancel - we put it down to rush at Xmas - we did Click and Collect 6th feb at Albany as the person said they will be able to keep an eye for us after we told them the trouble before - latest is that it is in Hamilton and not dispatched again- Things come quicker from China

Incorrect item received from an online order. Emailed them upon delivery, then a follow up email a week later. Two weeks passed with no return email so I called them... Spent plenty of time waiting to get through, then the line disconnected on me (twice!) so had re-wait in the cue and rehash the situation multiple times. The experience is laughable, hard to believe, and embarrassing. Worse yet, this appears to be standard operating. For these reasons, I will not be shopping from Torpedo7 again. RIP

Worst customer service i have ever experienced! They are rude and unhelpful. Not only did I have to wait for 5 weeks for my order to be delivered, it came faulty. I am now another 3 and a half weeks into waiting for them to blimmin well replace or refund my kayak. Dont bother emailing them because it takes them at least a week to respond! I will never shop here again.

They encourage you to wait to hear from them via email before collecting and 3 weeks in, still no email advise. I wanted to buy a tent, website showed it in stock in Petone so I bought it to go pick up since I have to drive an hour to get there and wanted to be sure it it not sold before I get there.
Waited 7 work days and still no tent. Drove into the store and they say it is OK back order. The website still shows the store has in stok.
I will complain with ombudsman, I think they do this on purpose, let you think they have the item and let you pay for it in advance. Nothing less than crooks

Worst online retailer around
Same as all the other reviews here. Ordered items, after waiting two weeks I contacted them (what a process that is) to find out why they hadn’t shipped yet. Eventually to be told that one of my items was out of stock (their website showed it still in stock in multiple stores).
Asked them to cancel my entire order and process a refund, nope they eventually shipped out the things I did not wish to wait any longer for.
3 weeks for the item to travel 20km.
Abysmal customer service. When you finally reach somebody they give you one response and then don’t reply to subsequent communication.
Pretty sure they’re in breach of the fair trading act by constantly advertising items on sale that they don’t apparently have.

Ordered home gym Nov received 3 weeks later with WRONG/MISSING PARTS. Follow up required by me +++ before receiving parts 6 weeks later. WRONG PARTS. Follow up by me and my son ++++ which include detailed emails and pics of parts and manual. February, more parts sent but TO WRONG ADDRESS and have disappeared. Email sent requesting full refund and potentially legal action if matter has not been resolved by the end of the week, I received a receipt email was received and my case no. One week later, I have heard nothing from Torpedo 7. I have tried to purchase the parts I need online and have found they aren’t available. I suspect this is the reason for multiple empty promises and run around I’ve experienced with Torpedo 7. Buyer beware.
Ordered and paid for an E-bike online
Ordered and paid for an E-bike online. Site mentioned the bike was in stock. Requested to have it ready for collection in Christchurch 9 days after ordering. Phoned customer service, who stated delays are occurring, couldn't say when it would be delivered, couldn't use the order number generated by online sale?, mentioned it had to come from Hamilton, mentioned they can't change the delivery address once in their system, mentioned they may look for the same bike in another store and then I could cancel first order?? Lots of can not dos!! Morale of this review: Online ordering certainly has it deficiencies, the bigger the company not always better! Tread with caution when buying here!

Ordered a bag online
Ordered a bag online, said it may be 20 days for a large item delivery, okay that's fine.
A month and a half later, talked to them and they said it's just sitting waiting to be Dispatched, but offered a refund (which I accepted) however a week later and no refund which is terrible.
Their customer service is terrible, and I can't recommend enough not to shop with them.

Have ordered 3 times from them in as many months and not once has the item been delivered. Either just don’t send it or email me (a week later) after I’ve paid to say they don’t have any. Very frustrating and I won’t order anything from there ever again.
