The people working at Torga Grove are extremely friendly but what sets them apart from, every if not any establishment, is their compassion and professionalism. It is attributes like these that are becoming so rare in this world. I am truly grateful to all who work there and especially the optometrist who in my opinion is a magnificent leader to have been able to cultivate such a production of excellence. Keep up the good work and thank you so much. I wish you all the most abundant lives possible!

I would go for 0 if I was given an option. I am very angry and highly disappointed with the service I received. I approached torga and wanted a break from contact lenses and told them I eye sight is very poor can they help me with my issue...I paid almost r10 000 for thick spectacles which I don't wear and don't want, due to receptionist not explaining to me all the details then I would have gone for contact lenses. I was given a referral to Tygerberg hospital when I got there I was turned away due to the fact that my appointment wasn't logged on vuyo app and they phoned Torga to explain they need to logg it. Two weeks after that I did a follow up I was told they waiting for Tygerberg to come back to them, I waited a month went by I did a follow up and then I was told the optometrist left and never logged it, it so unethical. I want my refund back otherwise I will escalate this matter further.. my eyesite is getting poorer and they feel it has to be more serious before they refer me to Tygerberg that's what the new optometrist said.....I want my refund back

The service received both in store and online was excellent!

I ordered contact lenses and requested for the order to be prioritized due to an important event. The contact lenses were delivered within three days.

I had an eyetest done and recieved multifocal glasses and sunglasses.. Staff were very friendly.. when I recieved my glasses I was advised to give it a week for my eyes to adjust to the new lenses.. I did so but noticed that there were circles and numbers embosed on the lenses itself.. I returned after a week as I was still struggling to see thru them and told them about the printing on the lenses.. I was told that because they are multifocal lenses they print the lense nrs on due to the fact that if I go to an optometrist they can see what lenses was put in.. Is this a true thing or not as I have contacted numerous other places and they informed me that it shouldnt be like that.. The reason for my asking is that my eyes pick up the writing and is an annoying thing.. It blurs on that spot and I think my lenses are dirty.. Please can someone get back to me regarding this as it is alot of money that is spent..

I am still waiting for specs 10 days later on a 5 to 7 day delivery promise. I phoned the tyger valley shop twice to get an update , they say they will call back . still no call back . Same 2nd day in a row.
Maybe time to get my money back having paid in full.

annoyed customer .not again will I go there. They also said that bi focals will work for me and promised if they do not they will fix it

The most friendly service and very helpful selecting your frames. The Optician makes sure of the strength and is patient waiting for you to get the right reading. Will recommend Torga to everyone 👍

Excellent service, sound advice. To recommend Graham Hall, and staff, to all that I know if ever needed to come in for an eye test. Very professional and no B/S.
I should have rather chosen Torga Optical as the preferred Service Provider and should have recommended the practice in Fountains mall 2 years ago when moving to Jeffrey's bay, to Platinum Health.
So glad I did it when experiencing serious difficulties with my eyesight, to have let Graham do the tests.

This was an excellent experience. I've always come to Torga Optical, as they know my eyesight like no other. This time the service was not only exceptional, but it felt like home. I am un able to single out one staff member, as they all worked well together to ensure I not only got what I needed, but what I didn't know I wanted. I walked a way not only with great vision, but looking great, I felt like a super star/model. Really grateful, for the first time in my life I get to be proud to wear spectacles. Feeling and looking great.

I was involved in a car crash not so long and my glasses were damaged. I called the Torga Optical branch in Northgate of which was were i got my glasses at first and was assisted by a very friendly,professional Mpumi. She was very patient with me and made sure that i got my glasses again, evreytime she would make a follow up to let me know how far my glasses were and would just check up on me. Point is i really recommend Torga for it is very fast and very realiable and the service is always amazing. They really do take good care of their clients with a smile always. Was really humbled on how Mpumi would check up to hear how i was doing.BIG UPS to her.

Very happy to find a company that walks its talk

I have been buying my glasses from Torga since 2017 and been very happy with the service that was provided and I have recommended them to several friends.
However recently I had to take back to Torga a set of glasses that had broken in the middle to see what could be done and I was informed that they where out of the warranty period but they could sell me the same frame for $60 dollars
This raised the obvious question why would I buy the same frame with the inherent problems.
The meeting did not finish well so my only recourse is to use another optometrist when I get new glasses in the future which is shame as I thought so well of Torga in the past

Hi I would just like to share my compliment with everyone about what excellent service that I yet again received at Torga Optical at Somerset Mall branch. The staff are Rachel and Marilyn and they are super friendly and professional at the same time. They always gave me service with a smile. Marilyn has been so professional regarding a recent query that she handled for me. She always kept me in the loop and she corresponded via email and phone calls and I really appreciated it and she is really an asset to the Somerset Mall branch. She is a gem and needs to rewarded because of this in my opinion. Thank you for the amazing service Marilyn. Keep it up. I always recommend your branch to everyone that I meet.
