Tool4Trade did have a 22mm spring for my pipe bender (unlike others) at a good price. I got a message on my DPD App saying that Toos4Trade had received my order - and I got to see an image of a load... See more

Terrible delivery service
I’m sure tools 4 trade are good suppliers but the delivery service they use (DPD ) are shocking. Next day delivery didn’t get delivered. Needed the tool in a hurry so paid further 4.99 for next day delivery and the came out with 1 of 2 parcels.
Was told by the driver that he would be out the following day with part 2 and didn’t show. Absolutely terrible service from dpd
DO NOT USE
Well where do I start and finish.
I thought I had purchased 5 items from tools4trade but upon arrival of delivery not even made to the correct address and just slung at the local drop off depot by a lazy DPD driver as he attended the wrong address and took a photo of a redundant property. I went and collected the items from the local depot and when I returned home on 2 of the 5 items I had purchased were in the delivery boxes.
I contacted tools4trade to trace where my missing items were and was informed by the customer support executive that there should have been 4 items with the first delivery and that 1 item was to follow as it wasn’t instock but when I ordered online it stated it was but I wasn’t informed of this via anybody at tools4trade which I thought it wouldn’t have taken someone a couple of minutes to send an email to say that an item will be delivered at a later date as it’s currently out of stock just to give the customer a bit of courtesy and reassure them that the item is coming. I did eventually receive this out of stock item.
But the missing 2 items I didn’t receive from the first drop off delivery I was told that the items had been packed and that they were in the original delivery. I was asked to take photos of all the packaging and to follow so other instructions which I quite happily did as I just wanted to receive the goods that I had paid for out of my hoarded earned money to carry out some works at a disabled family’s home.
I was then informed by tools4trade customer support executive that they had contacted DPD and that and that DPD could not help any further as they had completed all the essential checks and that the packaging was original, it had not been tampered with and was all tightly packed. So from the photos that I was asked to send from the customer support executive I asked how come the packaging had been covered over with clear sellotape on top of the tools4trade tape where you can clearly see that the tools4trade tape has been cut and covered with clear sellotape. The customer support executive response was that this was the original packaging and it hadn’t been tampered with so another one of my questions was why was it covered with two different types of tape as of yet I’ve not had a response along with another 4 questions I’ve asked. So I presume I’m not going to receive the items I have paid for which then has a knock on effect for me completing some works for my customers plus I also loose my hard earned money on these missing items because tools4trade cannot give me an answer on my questions. So as regards would I recommend this company to buy tools from then definitely not if you actually want to receive the items you pay for. Would I recommend that this company was helpful with my enquiry regarding my missing items then no because they don’t inform you is something is coming at a later date and also they don’t answer your questions you ask and just blame everything on the delivery company that they hire to make there deliveries for them. Would I recommend them for customer support no because the customer support cannot answer your questions you ask and just blank your emails you send regarding these questions. So if they had a box that I could tick to recommend a rating the box I would tick would be -10.
I hope this tools4trade are happy that they have let a customer down in myself but also letting a family down by not delivery the tools I paid for to complete some essential works in there property.
Worst Customer Service and Shipping Issues – Avoid!
I ordered a Festool from Tools4Trade for £1,200 about a month ago. The courier returned the parcel to the sender, which I was informed of. However, Tools4Trade has refused to either resend the order or refund my money.
After numerous emails, they claimed they would investigate the matter, but their responses have been contradictory and unhelpful. Tracking information clearly shows that the parcel was returned to their warehouse, yet they continue to give strange explanations and avoid taking responsibility.
Customer support, particularly Ramesh, has been completely unprofessional. I am now escalating the matter to supervisors, but I want to warn others: if you experience any issues with delivery, this company may not support you or resolve your problem. This level of service is unacceptable.

Great tools at great prices and my delivery came even quicker than expected! Goods arrived as seen on the website and I will definitely be using this company again!
Very happy customer 😁
Excellent service
Ordered from this company twice now and had no issues, tools are good quality with a years guarantee so when I needed to return a faulty grinder I was quickly sent another one in such sn easy process.
The delivery is also fast and you’re updated every step of the way, items themselves are packaged securely so no issues there either
I will definitely shop with these again

Don’t pay next day delivery
Paid for next day delivery, but they don’t deliver on weekends, so why charge me & refuse a refund.
Makita batteries arrived quickly but…
Makita batteries arrived quickly but soon noticed one was holding charge better than the other contacted tools4you who informed because it was 34 days since bought could not help letter attached, this is against the sale of good act
We have checked your order, and unfortunately the purchase was made over 30 days ago. Within the first 30 days, we are able to assist with issues such as damage, faults, or missing parts under our free return and warranty support policy. However, after 30 days from the date of purchase, any repair or replacement requests must be handled directly by the manufacturer, Makita.

For price I cannot fault them but for service they're below par, ordered a Makita lawnmower and had to contact them 2 days after order as nothing about despatch only to be told they were out of stock and would be 9 days before resupply. Once despatched had to contact again as a tracking number but no courier details and when they responded I was informed I'd be called by delivery firm to arrange delivery but absolutely no contact until it turned up on doorstep. Sorry would not use again as customer service is woeful.
Terrible service after ordering a set…
Terrible service after ordering a set of dewalt tools in which was a sds hammer drill which was faulty and not as expected so I asked for a refund and a return lable only to be told to send a video which I did then another video which I did then I sent it back now they are saying its not faulty im a builder of 30 years I know when something is not working as it should now im being told no refund as they deem this item to be working as it should well it fiesta and all this has taken 3 weeks of stress avoid this company im now having to go through the ombudsman to get this resolved all this hassle over a £150 item its ridiculous.
They are taking money out of my card
They are the best thieves. I have had 4 separate transactions charged to my credit card without initiating any purchases!!!! One in March 26 the rest in April 26Has this happened to anyone else?
AVOID!
Whatever you do, do not purchase an EXCEL brushless, compact impact wrench 18v Li-ion from this Company.
I bought one back in November and it is rubbish; in fact, I would have been better to have bought a toy one from 'Toys R Us'.
Tools4Trade's aftersales has been appalling and simply not interested in my purchase, and I am now looking at going down the route of contacting Trading Standards.

Great company in my opinion and from my own experience...
.. and this is based on 3 seperate purchasing occasions..
I honestly don't know why there are so many bad reviews because I have bought from this company on at least 3 seperate occasions and they have always been brilliant even when I contacted customer services on 2 of these seperate purchase occasions and they was very helpful.
There was a purchase a while back where I had to contact customer service for what ever reason. I can't fully remember the reason but I do remember they was great hence a returning customers and my recent purchase below
On this recent purchase I called and spoke with Arron who was brilliant, I needed to make sure it was in stock and have delivery to a customer. On the day of delivery I had worries about the delivery and me not being there ( my fault as I was finishing earlier than the delivery time slot) so I called Arron and he explained to me all my best options which gave me peace of mind.
Also them using DPD is brilliant because once I got my time slot you also get what stop you are and the stop the courier is at.. So I left and went back near to the stop time to wait for the courier.
I also think the problem with reviews is that we all leave a bad review more often than leaving a good review when things go well.
From my own experience buy from here with confidence.
Excellent no quibble company.
I returned a £200 cordless tool as I was unsatisfied with its performance. I was issued a returns label on request and sent the tool back. I received a full refund in less than a week. A very refreshing change to deal with a no nonsense, customer focused company. I will definitely use them again.
Good service and fast delivery
