Tool Resume is deceptive.
The website is very deceptive. I believed I would be charged for a one-off payment of £1. I discovered this morning; I am subscribed for a service costing £34.99 monthly. I have checked my email and there has been no communication between myself and Tool Resume to confirm the direct debit. I found this unusual, I would normally expect some correspondence to agree to Terms and Conditions and any other binding clauses. I have instructed my bank to block further payments. If the impending transaction does go through, I shall be expecting a full refund.

Paid £0.90 by debit card for a cover letter I couldn't edit. Company signed me up for a £34.99 per month subscription that I didn't authorise. Scam artists, avoid.

Toolresume answered me on trustpilot and I tried to reply to the email address they are indicating: it simply does not work, email contact*toolresume.com (doesn't accept @ here) seems not to exist.
Is this the next fraud on trust pilot?

This is a scam. This site is the English version of Cvottimo who has a 1.1 star trust pilot score.
Many of the negative reviews meant for toolresume are listed under cvottimo as that is who bills you.
You will be billed high amounts without your knowledge.
Avoid at all costs.
