Absolute extortion

Absolute extortion. I went to the local police station about two months ago after getting completely locked out but they just wrote some notes down and nothing ever happened. Anyway, all of this started because I got a really bad feeling and just tried to close my account down. This broker immediately froze my entire balance. They suddenly claimed I owed a massive settlement tax to cover exit fees before I could withdraw my own cash. Total trap. I refused to pay them a single dime more and then my emails just started bouncing back.
I ended up submitting a complaint to the Advocacy-INT since I was just hitting a brick wall with every other option. It took time before there was any clear progress on the whole mess. Things moved incredibly slow for a while, but with their intervention the case eventually closed out and the frozen funds were later released.
