Toja Grids at first appear to be very easy to install, however the inner welding points were a bit thick and made it difficult to slide the 4x4s smoothly inside. I had to shave off the edges on each of the 4x4 post in order to get them inside. It was not a fun process.

I love how I can use the hardware to configure any setup I want. You just can't go wrong with it as it's so simple to setup. Hardware is top notch and the look it gives is very modern. I love it and I get praises about my 13' x 20' pergola.

I would have given this 5 stars but I needed more of the black caps and I was told you only sell them with screws and its $20 for 24 of them

Why dont you give enough screws to cover all holes? it makes no sense to have all these holes if your not using them, I went and bought enough screws but I cant get the black caps so a little frustrating

I haven't yet installed my TojaGrid pergola. It will be the final stage on my deck extension, which I'm doing myself. The product looks great, and I'm optimistic it will be a sturdy solution to my DIY pergola challenge once installed.

Two reasons for an enthusiastic 5-star review even before installing:

1) When I ordered, I had the boxes at my front door within either two or three days. Few of my other deck material purchases were nearly that fast, never mind a product made in Canada.

2) About two weeks after I ordered, I got an email that all the products were on sale for Black Friday at 40% off. I emailed and asked if it was possible to get a retroactive discount. I was kinda hoping for 10% or so. They gave me the full 40% off and credited it to my card within two hours.

TojaGrid has also been great about some technical questions I've had preparing to install.

If you're building your own deck, aren't a professional, and want a sturdy pergola as part of the project, I believe this is your answer.

needed the corner brackets to stabilize the frame.

The quality of the brackets is great and they look fantastic. The only thing I would recommend is more instructions/videos on wall mounted kits. I ordered the kit for wall mounting with 6x6 posts and it is exceptionally more difficult than the free standing option in my opinion.

The product worked out great. I would have really struggled without the Toja Grid system.

Easy ordering and fast delivery to the US, less than a week to Washington state. We used every type of 6x6 and 2x6 brackets to build a 10x24 pergola. Very happy with the results. The brackets provide a professional look. If we build another outside structure, we will definitely use TOJA GRID again.
