Took my jag xj 3.0d v6 in for a service. Must say very good service they provide very far price. People there very friendly and explained everything that they did with no hidden extras. Gave them 4 stars would off giving 5 stars but one thing my jag has cream coloured carpets and mats so just a thought why they didn't put something over them to protect the carpet as grease stains over floor. Yes I know there boots get dirty i understand that but they put seat covers on so why not on floor. Just an idea. Apart from that good service friendly staff

Once again Chris, Claudine and the team went over and above today. My car needed works but I needed another garage for part of it. Once they received the car from said garage Chris noticed something wasn’t right so took it back for them to check. That’s over and above what they could have done. All works completed perfectly. Thankyou so much, when you have a garage you can trust it makes a massive difference.

Chris looked after my van when I needed it and so I use TLC, whenever I can, with all out vehicles. They provide a great service and are always a pleasure to deal with. Support your local businesses while they still exist.

I have used this garage since i started driving about 9 years now (since 2016) . They have been consistently efficient, great customer service and affordable pricing . I tell all my friends to use this garage , they won't rip you off and they are so honest . Thank you Chris and to the lovely lady who always takes my calls and books me in . To everybody in TLC, you are all amazing, keep doing what you do best and please do not change .

Outstanding, thorough service at a reasonable price.

I brought two Land Cruisers to Jason for pre-purchase inspection and he found numerous problems, including dust in the engine. On his recommendation I did not proceed with the purchase. He inspects vehicles as if he was the purchaser - so he catches everything. He keeps the vehicle overnight to cold start test it.

If I had used RAC or one of these mass market outfits who do a cursory inspection (and charge more than TLC) I would have no doubt ended up purchasing a vehicle with major issues in its future.

I brought a 3rd vehicle in and even though it was low km there were a few minor issues that TLC identified that would have cost over $1000 to put right ... the dealer looked at the inspection sheet and agreed with the problems and will fix them.

One other thing ... TLC fit the first vehicle in the week prior to the Christmas break... and with the 3rd inspection I was heading overseas so they were able to squeeze me in with one day notice.

TLC specializes in Land Cruisers and Hilux vehicles so they know these vehicles inside out.

I cannot recommend them highly enough and will return for servicing on my new off road vehicle even though it's a 30 minute drive from where I live.

Booked an oil change for 9am Saturday November 2024. The sign outside says open Saturday 9am to 1pm. Nobody is here, the whole place is shut. Absolutely useless. How disrespectful to customers. I have received no contact whatsoever

Spent £486.96 on my car to pick it up on the way home the same problem was happening with the addition of rattling and the smell of burning so worse then what it went in like . Thay refused to pay any money bk because apparently the job has been done (obviously not ) I carnt get my son to college with his Brocken leg or my daughter to school or even myself to work . Thay have literally left me stuck.

Honest work. Honest pricing. Would recommend and use again in an instant. Took my car initially to another garage that quoted £000s of ‘necessary’ work on my car. Took to TLC Autocentres for a second opinion, on recommendation- total cost about £300 including my MOT rather than the £000s and an appraisal of what needed to be done that I can trust. Can not complain in the slightest. The service was friendly and focussed on getting the job done rather than just scamming me for more money. Will be using again.

A hardworking team, reasonably priced, with no hard sell and they do a thorough job of high quality.

Recent visit to diagnose and fix abs light problem. As ever I received fast, honest and efficient service all at reasonable cost.

Wouldn’t waste your time. Went in to see what a noise was in my car told me the problem, I asked Claudine who is meant to be an owner can I still drive the car she said yes! I said it’s ok to drive? to double check she said yes. She didn’t tell me with coolant or anything else just yes. When I took it to another mechanic after Id broken down with my children in the car, he told me she shouldn’t have told me it was ok to drive regardless of anything else! When I phoned to ask her why she told me it was ok she lied because she knew she had been caught out. I asked to make a complaint and speak to someone higher than her she told me another partner would call me, it’s been over a week now and no phone call! Claudine seemed very rude and I bet she didn’t even pass the message on!

Did no more work than was required. That may not sound impressive but so many garages try to inflate or invent work it is a pleasure to find one that is 1000% straight.

My partner and I have been going to them for a couple of years after a recommendation from a friend! They have always been friendly, helpful and very reasonable. Won’t go anywhere else now!

I have been having my MOT and service with TLC for a number of years and they always provide a reliable and professional service.

My car is over 14 years old and a few times I have had to take the car in to check something or for reassurance. The team are so friendly and helpful and always explain what is happening and what needs to be done in non technical language. I always feel confident that they will only charge for work that needs to be done, and a couple of times there has been no charge if it has been a small job.

I recommend TLC to all my friends and family.
