New engagement ring
I needed a new engagement ring for my wife with specific ideas tried all big names jewellers with little or no success. Spoke to Liam Mitch at Hallmark in Formby who was amazing. He helped me design the ring and made it very quickly. It is beautiful. I would recommend this jewellers 100% before trying the so called bigger ones.

From start to finish the guys in store were amazing,Liam was so knowledgeable,and reassured me through every step of choosing my design for my beautiful piece of memorial jewellery for my wife, and eventually the making of my brilliant piece of what has become a most treasured part of my wife's collection, I can't speak any higher of Liam,Steve and all of the staff in the Formby store ,and would definitely recommend Hallmark jewellery, and say they are most definitely worth a visit.

The staff at Hallmark Jewellers are efficient and friendly. I took my engagement ring in for repair and was told exactly what they would do, the cost and when I could expect the repair to be completed.
I received a text within the given timescale to tell me it was ready for collection.
Absolutely delighted with the service.

AVOID THIS JEWELLERS - AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE
My mum who is very frail and not in the best of health went into the formby store to buy a new gold chain. She had owned the chain for less than 24 hours and changed her mind so went back in for a refund. Despite her age and poor health they were adamant that they wouldn't take it back and instead provided a credit note. I would've thought that they could make an exception due to the circumstances. Their refund policy is different on the website and is displayed in the shop but is written very small and is not at all prominent. Especially for someone whose eyesight is poor or for someone elderly. My mum was not aware of the refund policy until she was handed her receipt. Will not be going back and would not recommend !!

Potential scammers
I waited 1 week after my confirmed purchase without any notice if delivery, had to reach out to them via email.
Got an email requesting additional ID or thatvthey could proceed eoth refunding me, when I mentioned I was not comfortable with providing additional ID to an unknown entity via email and I wanted a refund, no further communication was provided.
I am still without my refund, fortunately I paid wit. Credit card so getting my refund shouldn't be very difficult, but I would avoid this company in the future, very shady!
