Tix aka Flighttix is best avoided

12/12/2023: I got my refund...!
2/12/2023: This company sells tickets and changes the rules after the ticket is bought, says to wait for 3 days for a refund (which never comes) and then just send endlessly a form to fill which explains that they will take " a very long time to answer"...Customer service even if you have purchased the "premium service package" is non existent. The phone number provided is an answering message that says they don t answer the phone because of covid 19...in 2023!!! It seems they have the same illegal practices for many years and it is unbelievable that no authorities has still not stopped this fraudulent company.

Mostly do not recommend this

Mostly do not recommend this. I purchased the airline ticket, as the price seemed quite cheaper than the airline's website. However, the airline 'confirmation code / PNR' is not matching any flight in airline's system. Thus i'm not sure that i'm on the flights at all, the price within a couple of hours went much more exprensive, and the agents are responding some template garbage. Not sure about the possible refund, because T&C are hidden in FAQ on the website and no hotline to receive at least verbal confirmation or direct answer

Not very happy with the customer…

Not very happy with the customer service. There is no chat or telephone service, only a form that later turn into email. For my flight, I have issues with my check in luggage. Contacting them and getting them to resolve the problem was very stressing. I wrote emails that were never replied. I ended up paying twice for the same luggage.
Later, I wanted to changed my flight back home. I faced the same communication problem. Plus the website, at least for this matter, is very confusing. No support from TIX because it is almost impossible to contact them. I tried to send emails, but this time I got only automated replies. Bad company to deal with. They cause extra stress.

Booked a ticket with tix. Absolute scam.

Booked a ticket with tix. They do not confirm your "tickets reservation", and do not issue your plane tickets, until couple days before your trip. Three weeks after purchasing the tickets, I get an e-mail from them saying in order to keep the reservation I had to pay 90 additional euros per person, within the next 3 hours. So, not only asking for more money then the announced when purchasing the tickets, but also demanding to do it in a very short period of time or else I would lose the tickets (reservation would be cancelled). Note I got this e-mail and my costumer attention service was more "direct" and "personalized" because I had payed 15€ per person, when buying the tickets, for that service with Tix.
As you can imagine, I wrote back showing my concern, and stating I was not told, at the time of the purchase, they could change the price tickets at anytime, much less ask for the payment to be done in such a short period of time. That is straight up wrongful practice.
They replied with a copy-paste text, from their Terms&Conditions:

3.4 Tix/Gate1/Flighttix reserves at all times the right to revoke the rates given within five working days after your reservation. This might for instance be caused by computer failures or unexpected changes in airport taxes and security taxes. In the event of a package tour Tix/Gate1/Flighttix at all times reserves the right to increase the travel sum up to 20 days before the commencement of the trip, in connection with changes in the transport costs including fuel costs, the levies payable or the applicable exchange rates. If this happens, we will indicate the way in which the increase has been calculated. Should the total amount of your reservation unexpectedly end up higher because of this, the reservation can be cancelled free of charge or you can still confirm the reservation at the higher price with an additional payment. 3.5 Some airports and airline companies apply local departure taxes, in particular in the Asia, Central and South America and New Zealand. In this connection no distinction is made between low-cost carriers or scheduled airline companies. These departure taxes are not levied by Tix/Gate1/Flighttix but separately at the departure airports on the order of the local authorities. You yourself are responsible for paying these fees/taxes (locally).

So, to summarize, you pay a price for tickets they do not give you, and until 20 days before departure they can ask you to pay indefinite additional amounts. Crazy.
Of course, I asked for a total refund, since I was not willing to pay. Fortunately I got my money back. I guess thanks to the service I payed extra for, because on their website there is no way of contacting them.

If useful to you, I'm leaving here the customer service telephone they gave me. However, all the times I called I couldn't get through to an operator, since it automatically popped a message saying they cannot attend calls due to COVID-19 congestion.

Site messed up my name!

We booked a ticket with tix.com and although we put the names correctly, because I have 2 surnames with "-" between them, the site messed up the name (split the first name and put one of the surnames in the middle with a random space somewhere!), and now they tell us to contact the airline that asks for 200 euros to correct the name! It's a problematic site and they should take responsibility and fix the name! Also they don't have a call center, only via messages that they never reply!

Beware of fraud!
4.10.21 OK booking Munich Gran Canaria with TUI.
Money has been withdrawn from the account.
At the airport counter at check-in: TUI Germany information: no booking in the system, "you cannot fly".
Tix doesn't answer the phone and email is not accepted. The form comes with general information.
No flight and money away! Fraud!!!
Vorsicht Betrug!
4.10.21 OK Buchung München Gran Canaria mit TUI.
Geld wurde vom Konto abgezogen.
Am Schalter am Flughafen beim Check-in: Auskunft TUI Germany: keine Buchung im System, "sie können nicht mitfliegen".
Tix geht nicht an das Telefon und E-Mail wird nicht angenommen. Formular kommt mit allgemeinen Hinweisen.
Kein Flug und Geld weg!!! Betrug!!!
