Brilliant
Brilliant nod to the history of the Titanic and Belfast history. Huge site spread over multiple floors. Full of history and information from the very beginning, the build, launch and the disaster itself and what followed after. Immersive experience with stories from the public, workers, those on the ship and families. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in Belfast.
Was very busy but to be expected.
Nothing to see there at all
Nothing to see there at all. They printed old photos in a low result, put them on walls and call it 'museum'. They charge excessive fees.
Fantastic experience
Fantastic experience, loved it, interesting, informative, immersive. Poignant stories of passengers, sadness of the radio messages to other ships calling for help. Friendly and helpful staff and a great gift shop. Ignore the haters, some people would complain about anything.

Cost may not reflect good value for money. Much of the displays are on screens, with few actual examples of shipyard life. It is an experience, not a museum, and sadly if you just stay in the main building you may leave disappointed. PLEASE DON'T FORGET your ticket allows you on board the SS Nomadic and for me, THAT was worth the entry fee...
We travelled to Belfast specifically to…
We travelled to Belfast specifically to visit the Titanic Belfast museum, as it was meant to be the highlight of our trip. I had pre-booked tickets in advance and visited on a random Tuesday, expecting it to be reasonably quiet. However, it was extremely busy, so crowded that there was barely any space to move, let alone stop and read any of the information or displays.
The experience felt very rushed and uncomfortable, and it certainly didn’t seem very accessible for anyone with mobility issues or disabilities. We really didn’t get to see much at all because of the sheer number of people packed into the space.
We left feeling very disappointed and honestly questioning whether it was even safe to have that many people enclosed in one area. When we later spoke to some locals, they mentioned that it’s always this busy and actually suggested we should have done one of the prison tours instead, apparently those are much better managed.
Overall, we wouldn’t recommend Titanic Belfast. It was a let down after travelling all that way for it, and the overcrowding made it an unpleasant experience from start to finish.
Overcrowded
The place is amazing , however out visit was somewhat spoilt by the amount of people inside . We missed reading a lot of the boards as you could not get anywhere near them as for the artifacts. At one point I felt like a sardine in a tin it was that tight to move . It did get better the further you went round but it wasn't enjoyable and felt very clostrophobic. The visit to hms nomadic was a great ending to a good day but my advice would be to not go early .Well worth a visit though

Getting into the underground parking area was the real experience. Here is what I emailed to Titanic Belfast when I returned home in Ohio.
3 Jul 2025, 11:32 BST
On June 9, 2025 I was trying to park my motorcycle in the underground parking garage at the Titanic Car Park. A sign said to press the help button for cyclist. I raised the flipup section of my helmet, expecting to talk to someone. Instead, the entry gate raised allowing entrance. I closed my helmet and started in. The gate came down hard and fast and almost knocked me off the bike. Then the gate went up again. I entered and stopped to look at the helmet. There was a chip knocked off of the brand new rented helmet. I was hoping the rental company would overlook the damage. After touring the Titanic facility I decided I better file an incident report. An employee went down to the bike/helmet with me to write a report and take a picture of the helmet. My pleading did no good when I returned the bike and helmet to RetroVentures & Adare Bike Hire in Adare, they charged me for a new helmet-200 Euro.

Again nobody is contacting me. I must assume the only way for me to resolve this is with an attorney. This will be my last attempt through email.

I find it humorous that they call themselves "Customer Support"
And about the museum tour. There are pictures of many things. I didn't have any good feeling about going through the building. I could look at smaller pictures online. But when you are there, you just have to go through. Hopefully without the gate coming down on your head.

Terrible don't waste youre money total waste of time!!
If your English be prepared to be insulted as soon as you arrive.
Having made the effort and cost to travel from England to Belfast to visit the exhibition the first thing I was greeted with was a notice saying " England is Ireland's Enemy" how dare they they display such a political and resentful message to be seen by every visitor to the museum. I was in the company of 2 American friends and felt humiliated and embarrassed. So all you English people planning to visit the museum and paying for the privilege of being insulted so be prepared or better still avoid it altogether.
Too crowded!
The exhibition itself is fantastic! However, they have way overbooked the tours and walking through felt hot and very claustrophobic! Made it hard to properly read the exhibits. Far too many people. Overall, it made for a very uncomfortable experience. Will not be returning any time soon, unfortunately.
Titanic Belfast
Wow amazing experience , though not all true to the story , the atmosphere, the writing and pictures on the walls were great , seeing the reconstructed copy of the Titanic boat floating in mid air , with the lights dimming , and the underwater scene of half the Titanic floating under the sea with the music was phenomenal I managed to some amazing photos. The gift shop is a bit pricey but nice .Belfast is amazing city , thank you
Very expensive for an adult ticket
Very expensive for an adult ticket. Not worth the money. If it was £15 it would be ok. There is not a whole lot in there apart from the text on the walls.
Very disappointing visit
Very disappointing visit. Super overcrowded not helped by the presence of a poorly behaved overexcited school party which made it impossible to actually get near most of the information boards/interactive exhibits. Could school parties not be allocated a specific time slot just for them with the general public to follow maybe after a 20 minute or so head start? The one way system doesn’t work if people are milling around everywhere in droves. Text information overload adds to poor layout. Very limited seating presents challenges for those with mobility issues particularly when progress round the exhibit is so slow due to overcrowding. I am sure it could be a most interesting excursion under better conditions, sadly not for us today, had to give up…….very very disappointing.
Wow What a Fab Hotel
I’ve stayed in some beautiful hotels across the world, (including the Bellagio hotel) and I think this hotel is ‘right up there’. From the explanation of the history of the hotel I received when being escorted to my room right through to, well…. everything. The staff service is excellent and so is the food, really excellent. The location is historical. I really enjoyed the TV channel that explained how the Museum was built ‘right outside my window’ really I hope I get the chance to come here again. It’s fab.
Absolutely brilliant day out
Absolutely brilliant day out. Made even more magical by our Guide on the White Star Experience. Peter (the guide) was extremely engaging and made all his stories come to life. Fascinating, thank you Peter and the Titanic Experience.
Great content but very noisy
Great content but very noisy. Too much loud background music and speech recording and an annoying telegraph machine
Am Olympic adventure ...
I'd always wanted to see the home of the Titanic so finally took the opportunity. Very glad I did. Went mid week and booked an early morning tour. Best idea as it got very busy by mid day.
Came away with a mini titanic of my very own.
Too busy and chaotic
My second visit here and I found it very overwhelming the sheer number of people going around at any one time was ridiculous. Staff added to the chaos of this rather than trying to do anything about it.
The shut off their ride which meant we only got part of the experience and when I complained they weren’t in the least bit interested, telling me their terms and conditions allow them to vary what is available.
Save your money and find something better to do in Belfast or possibly try going early in the morning or before closing.
Value for money?
As an expat living in Denmark I had been telling my family about the ship and it’s history, and so I brought them to the museum.
Whilst the museum was indeed overcrowded, it was also very informative and so that brings the final score up a bit.
However is it necessary for all the interactive aids? It slows down the flow and people are in the way for others trying to read the different posters.
My issue is value for money. I remember the museum when it was in Cultraugh and whilst it was much smaller in many ways it was better. The price of 25 pounds is too expensive, and when you factor in the price of parking it is an expensive couple of hours!
