The first assistant I was given didn't respond in a timely manner and after a few weeks didn't respond at all to my emails.
I asked to stop service and shared my concerns. I was ensured this wouldn't happen again. But the same thing happened. I told my second VA, please just respond within 1-2 business days, even if it's to let me know you're behind schedule and catching up. She just completely stopped responding.
I shared my concerns with Time Etc and asked for money back but was told I should try another VA instead.

The staff member I had spoken to about my issues reached out to me regarding the review written. After much back and forth, and further detail on the issues I've encountered, I was told that the following steps are being taken to change things at Time Etc. I informed them I would edit my review, but not delete, as I no longer have access to the platform and cannot verify for myself if things have changed.
1. They will be looking into creating an email template that clearly outlines steps involved in account closure.
2. They are reviewing the questions asked when an assistant steps away to clarify the process.
3. Based on the information I provided regarding the inaccurate invoicing and billing, they will be investigating as to why it would show empty payments.

This review is from the perspective of a virtual assistant working through Time Etc.
Do not waste your time with this company. I experienced issues with incorrect payments, and closing down my account without them clarifying it to my understanding.
Regarding my incorrect payment, I had worked with some client on instant tasks. However, if those clients then close down their accounts it makes your invoices look as if you won't be getting paid for it. They incorrectly deducted funds, and when showing them the math, they only paid me what I was due as an act of "goodwill" and because I was adamant they owed me money. Would not allow me to speak to the billing department.
When it came to my account being closed, it started because I told them I would be stepping away from my one and only client. My account manager did not inform me that I would lose all access to my account, meaning that not only could I not find someone else to work with, but I would lose access to my invoices which are needed for tax purposes. When I tried to explain my position and frustration with a supervisor, I was told they would not reinstate my account unless I re-applied and re-interviewed.
They also gave me attitude whenever I told them I did not want to speak on the phone, as there was already a miscommunication via email. Whose to say there wouldn't be another issue when our conversation was over the phone. I wanted everything to remain in writing.
