Completely unusable unless you pay for premium. Massive watermarks when exporting

Free version is worthless, paid is expensive and the basic features are very weak.

You can't download your timeline without watermarks that render it unreadable without paying for premium. When you change colors of an event then click off of it, it changes the colors back. An extremely frustrating experience overall. You're better off drawing a timeline with pencil and paper. I regret every second I spent on this website.

The software makes it easy to create beautiful timelines. However, there is still a lot of room for improvement in terms of usability/UX.

Lets you create timeline, but no option except to pay to work on it. Mention that before someone spends time on your product.

The timelines I create involve hundreds, if not thousands, of people, places, events, contexts, etc., which would be basically impossible to navigate without this platform's organizational features like the tagging and grouping systems. I also love the ability to export in numerous different formats.

The software should be able to satisfy anyone's project for accurately depicting events and periods in history. The company provided technical support when I needed it, very punctually. I'm satisfied with my product, but wish that they might offer a more thorough manual, guidebook, or help assistant for specific questions.

The ease with which date can be traversed in the timeline, auto adjustment as scrolling is going on, is simply amazing. The layout of completed diagram, positioning and one-click formatting is very very useful and saves load of time.

I asked if there was a cheaper option for a premium account. The company (CEO) responded quickly, which I was happy about.

After that, things got weird. The company bribed me to write a good review here and in return I would get a free extra year on the premium account. He also boasted that there were other options to earn even a free account.
I told that the additional year is not necessarily of any added value to me, because my usage will remain for half a year. This seemed to be a big deal, because the CEO didn't answer any of my messages anymore.

My point is that the reviews are not real, the company bribes you to write good reviews.

I miss being able to easier move time blocks both horizontally and vertically. Otherwise, simple, easy, and good looking

This is the 3rd tool that I tried for my timeline and it is the best one (by far).
Although there are advanced features, I don´t need to use them so I easily skipped them.
My timeline still looks good and I can edit easily. I enjoy just clicking on the timeline and being to able to "put an event there" because it makes my decisions easier (as my timeline does not have exact dates yet).

This is exactly what I was looking for, but couldn't find with other timeline makers. This tool allows you to create an open-ended timeline that you can scroll, expand and contract. Perfect teaching tool for history courses.

This is exactly what I have been looking for! Very user friendly and easily customizable. I needed something that would allow me to keep changing timelines and this did the trick for me. I also appreciate being able to demonstrate point in time versus a time span. Great tool.

I looked for many timeline editor websites and this is by far the best one. The non-premium version is very limited, but overall easy to use.

This tool offers a year of free premium for a review on Trustpilot. I had never heard of Trustpilot prior to that offer. I don't care about this site and probably won't ever visit again.

I have desperately wanted a simple timeline builder for a while. I work in applied research and when I try to learn a new niche in my field, it's extremely helpful to have a visual timeline of published research to understand how things evolve. It's easy to use, looks great, and offers a lot of features; however, it's a little expensive for what it is, and they hide the limits on your account until you've used the app for a while.

They need to be forthcoming with the limitations of an account before users sign up, and they shouldn't provide a link to say "review us here and get free premium for a year" in the same breath as saying "we do not offer incentives for a review," as this is simply a lie. As with all other software, there are free open source alternatives readily available.
