Timber arrived well packaged and as described, but the minimum £125 per delivery limit before VAT is a bit steep. Free delivery is welcomed but it would be more practical to also offer an option of a smaller order total with a delivery fee - not everyone ordering is doing so for a class of school children!

6mm Birch Faced Poplar Core Laser Plywood
I purchased 30 sheets of 6mm birch faced poplar core laser plywood after trying a sample that Timberite had sent me. I am quite disappointed with the quality of the birch faces as about a third of my 30 sheets had marks on both sides which makes for a lot of wastage for my products. I expected maybe B grade on one side and BB grade on the other but to have so many marks on both sides is unacceptable. The sample I was sent was good on both sides so I was expecting the same on my bulk order.
The material itself does cut very easily and cleanly on the laser cutter. This wood being poplar cored is very lightweight.
