App no longer works but VPN works

The London POP has been dead for months, but Manchester (UK) still works on my lifetime account. The app now fails but using the config for OpenVPN works fine. L2TP not so sure.....

Fraud. My "Lifetime subscription" suddenly wasn't lifetime anymore, and just stopped working alltogether.

Avoid!

Started out good value for money.

I bought a lifetime subscription. Speeds were ok, but frequent disconnects and no killswitch. For a one-off fee, it was reasonable.

My service has now been stopped without any prior warning and customer support just ignore me.

Software and server failures - no support

I've had a lifetime subscription for a few years and it still seems to be active. However, the service has been cut a couple of times over the years. First time was May 2020 when their software reported "The encryption between your device and our network has stopped.". I requested support on May 28 using their chat and when I viewed it today, my message was "27w ago. Not seen yet". I was able to restore service by reinstalling. It's now December 8 and the software reports that there is a problem and to try again later. (I forget the exact wording). I've tried to uninstall and reinstall the tigerVPN software and the installation reports "Error 1500 Another installation is in progress". I've tried rebooting, cleaning the registry, etc. without success. TigerVPN support chat reports that "We'll be back online Tomorrow".

Another lifetime subscription not…

Another lifetime subscription not honoured. I doubt they care. I will try to reverse the good reviews I have left in the past. They even got us all to post out lots of promos for them, karma points, seems ironic now..

TigerVPN has suspended my paid account

TigerVPN has suspended my lifetime account. They just decided to deactivate my lifetime subscription although I have not used the VPN at all.

From their ridiculous Terms and Conditions:

"In simple terms, when a subscription is called lifetime, we can only honor you as our customer as long as you are still profitable for us depending on your own individual usage pattern (traffic consumption). We reserve the right to terminate your access, limit the use of our service or restrict you from using specific network locations or adjust your usage so that the sale of such promotion does not outweigh the operational profitability."

Well dispite recent reviews my lifetime…

Well dispite recent reviews my lifetime subscription is still running. Had this going since 2016 so kind of expecting it to finish soon. When the vpn is connected its working great. Its also easy to extract the open pli and insert into a vpn router like nighthawk netgear which i own. Cheers

"Lifetime" subscription is only 4 years now.

Like many others reviewing TigerVPN, my "lifetime" promotional subscription was recently cancelled (I don't know the exact day it expired, because they never said a word). I went and had a peek at their terms of service and they quietly slipped in a clause defining "Lifetime" as "no later than 4 years". I do not recall seeing that definition when I initially read the terms and conditions. Making a change like that without notifying users is pretty shady.
