Tidey tide clock Reviews 

Superb product! We've been using a traditional tide clock for the last few years or so, which is helpful, but it needs adjusting every few weeks to keep it accurate. Recently, it occurred to me that some bright spark must have invented a digital tide clock which updates automatically over the internet once it knows what beach you are interested in. Queue Tidey! This very cool device does exactly that. It took a couple of days to fully get our heads around the nuances of the display, but we're there now, and it is amazing! It not only shows if the tide is coming in or out and how high the tide is - it also shows the phase of the moon and alerts you to any pollution spills within 10 miles of your designated beach. You can also change the animation effect to show wave interval data.

We’re really enjoying the Tidey. It’s super useful and is fun to have too. Great service from the team as well. The product arrived quickly and the set-up was straightforward too.

Beautifully crafted piece of functional art, which accurately tells me the state of the tides, and the moon cycle (for neap and spring).

It would be helpful if it actually told me the time of the next high or low tide, or both, as trying to work it out is fun, but easy to get wrong and hard to remember, I can get caught by the tide if I’m not careful on a walk so sometimes it’s good to see the numbers!.

It’s also a bit bright, and although you can set to dim for night time, it would be nice to have an app to alter brightness or change displays (possibilities are endless and could be fun, you could display the weather, time, wave height, emojis, all sorts!)

So a very cute present for someone who has everything, does what I need it to do so functionally accurate - much better than so called “tide clocks” which are not accurate! And looks great!

Update. They sent a new one and it works. I like the product, and they stood by it. Original: No tracking sent, had to contact support to get it. Clock came. Wouldn’t turn on. I tried several usbs. The third one worked, but a green light came on only in corner. I tried setup anyway, the Wi-Fi was on. Registered and logged in. That went through but the clock just sat there with green light in upper corner. I waited 10 mins, looked for support help there was nothing pertinent. I unplugged and plugged back in. Now it won’t turn on again like at the beginning. Two contacts with support before the first startup and it won’t turn on. All this for $200. Not a good start. It will probably be coming back soon.

I love this clock always wanted a tide clock living by the sea and I love a gadget so this is the perfect item. Everyone that has seen it so far have said it’s amazing. Love the fact it’s recyclable later on, a lot of thought has gone into making this product very pleased indeed thank you Tidey crew.

This is one of the best little gadgets that I have bought. My wife and I like to walk on many of the beaches in West
Wales. In the past we would drive to a beach only to find that the tide was in so we were unable to have our walk, so wasting time and money on petrol. Thank you Tidey problem solved. I also know what phase the moon is at.

The team seem to be really passionate about the product and are very keen on its environmental credentials.
Highly recommended if you want to actually know the tidal state near you - or just feel closer to the beaches you can't get to visit today.

It's a cool little light show that means I know all the time, without checking tide tables, what the tide is doing. As a fisherman it's very handy!

Fantastic product and receptive company. New modifications are excellent (night mode and adjustable brightness). My first ever involvement with kickstarter and it was excellent. Hope the product succeeds.

I love being able to know what the tide is at a glance. It helps me decide which way to walk the dog each day, the coast or in land. It’s the perfect size and I loved how it’s made and the plastic free packaging it came in. a lovely bit of smart tech.
